Got a holiday for 3 nights at the Glenrothes hotel (scotland). No idea how good the hotel is but there was no time for checking :)

    3 nights for £27 for 2 adults and 2 children - well chuffed :T

Thanks to all the MSEs that made it happen, it was hard work but was at it for about 10 mins and got through it. Never made my browser work so hard :D

We went there last year. Across the road there is one of those 'wok' restaurants but beware they close quite early (8.30). But we found a wonderful Indian restaurant nearby (turn right then left) - the food was fantastic but we were the only customers since apparently people eat much earlier up there!! I think there was a good early bird offer. Only downside of the travelodge - no fridge so we couldn't have a doggy bag!!
  • Hi guys,

Does anyone have any experience of booking more than one saver room? We want to stay for 2 nights, but they're both different prices so I'd have to book separately. My concern is that this will probably involve switching rooms, and there are early check-out/late check-in times - will this mean that I'll have to be hanging around for 4 hours until they allow us to check in to our new rooms, even though we're in the same hotel?

Bit pants that I missed the early start. Didn't have chance to look until yesterday evening (was out on Thursday) and obviously all of the £9 ones were gone. Cheapest I can find is £49 one night and £29 the next. Still, pretty cheap I guess.
  • Spudnik, the hotel will be only too happy to give you the same room for your stay as it is less work for them overall. This goes for pretty much all hotels - not just budget ones like Travelodge.

  • Thanks - will that still apply given that I'm having to order the two rooms separately? Are they likely to change it to the same room when I check in or something?

Just mention when you check in that you have a separate reservation for the second night and they should be able to join them together.

Just mention it when you check in on the 1st day, as the reception staff just see that daya paperwork, I've had the same experience b4, but let reception know, there sort it out for you, and the cleaner is always plzed as they have one less rm to clean. x
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
  • :T Managed to get a room at the Sheffield central travelodge for a saturday night just after Xmas for when we go to the football. :T
  • Hi was just wondering if anybody could advise which travelodge would be best for us - we're flying into Liverpool LPL Airport for 2 days. Would pref like one near the city centre or good shops/places to eat. Never been before so would appreciate any tips etc.

    Thanks in advance.
