I've been trying to think of a good comment to make about xbf's suggestion but am totally at a loss for words???? !!!!!! was he thinking???? How on earth did he think this was a good idea??!!!! I guess you are now getting so much confirmation that you made the right decision in ditching him!
:j Well done on the NSD's. I rarely manage them ever. There is always the odd pound spent on a can of coke or a magazine or a bit of internet shopping if I haven't left the house!!
At least the weather is improved so the gardening isn't so much of a chore. I think you are right that exercise is a good de-stresser and it will be make you so happy to look out at a lovely garden once it is done!I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills

Thanks makeup ... I have to say I was pretty much speechless at the time... just when i think i've heard the worst that can come out of his mouth - & trust me some of it was vile - he surpasses himself  .
I have a scary knack for finding the seemingly sweetest men on earth... who then turn out to be completely unhinged; hence my decision to be a BAV for the rest of this year  .
Going to put DD to bed now & have a bath, then will pop over to sarahs for a cheeky G&T

Somehow I've only just discovered this thread and now I get the whole 'services' thing... keep writing Lula. The size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it. Wow Lula under 6K with everything you've got going on at the moment is totally awesome dudette (sorry I've been watching Bill & Ted again).
We've had some interestng developments here. The complete muppet who bought the fields across from us at an exorbitant price has sice discovered you can't slap a housing estate on a field just because you own it and has downsized his plans to a private allotment (completely forgetting the planning permission for change of use) at a rather bargaintastic £250 a year up front for a bit half the size of a tennis court. Just a bit more than the councils £15 a year then.
If the XBf is after services perhaps you could offer to place certain parts of his anatomy in a blender. That would appear to be a service to the rest of the human race. Its reached the point where reporting him to BT as a nuisance caller and having his number bared from your landline would be a very sensible move. You should be able to bar him from your mobile yourself but you really shouldn't be putting up with this. A restraining order is possibly a step too far at the moment but something I'd have in the back of my mind if he does get any worse. Although I'm not convinced how much worse he could get. Hes way beyond anything I'd put up with.

aaaaah, another stalker ;) now dont you be dragging your filth over here boy- this is a good, clean & wholesome smut-free type of thread I'll have you know  :rotfl:
Moo - Bodacious
the nerve of field owner ... suggest importing large quantity of moles / rabbits to thwart his plans although allotment much better than a housing estate I suppose. I'm all for sneaking out to move boundary lines in the middle of the night but :shhh: you didnt hear it here
.
As to the xbf - well words just fail me. On the one hand I'm slightly flattered to be such an object of desire ... on the other it is rather irritating. He never calls my mobile & I do have the caller display on my home phone so can just switch it off & ignore, just depends whether I feel like a good verbal assault or not.
Then again I'm not entirely averse to people putting envelopes with £50 through the door very quietly at night & then going away again, as happened last night. The message just said "this might help". Now, whether it means just help out financially cos you're a bit broke... or it means help you to realise that this could be mutually beneficial, I just dont know. However, it should be noted that 1) I do not intend to pursue the oldest profession & 2) if I was then I would be charging a lot more than £50 - I may be poor but I am not cheap
.
I did do a quick calculation to see whether it would be possible to clear my entire debt by getting all previous boyfriends to contribute £50 but then realised that although I have had some fun in my time.... not 119 different lots of fun - shame really .
On that note I'm off to do something ... not sure what, just something
bye for now

Utterly brilliant mum2one - I propose you as the new chancellor :T :A0 -
Hi Lula
Congratulations on getting under 6k. With everything else you are dealing with, that's brilliant. [Imagine hat-tipping smiley here].
Now, as for the XBF. Words did actually fail me, as in I sat here doing a goldfish impersonation as I was reading your post. If you are planning the life of a BAV this year, would you consider whether he gets to try out the ancient life of the castrati? How is his falsetto? It really is amazing how people who seem absolutely great on early acquaintance can have such a personality transplant.
Now - my burning question of the week. You often mention that you have been reading. What can you recommend for this thread botherer/constant reader? I have £20 of Amazon vouchers burning a little hole in my account, and I wanna spend them!0 -
Hi Hollyberry -

****Thread Hijack Alert*******
Hi Hollyberry
Here are some things I have that I love and I have bought for a few people - to demonstrate my love of them!!!
The Book Thief - Markus Zusak - moving story set in WW2 in Germany, all about a little girl and what happens to her and her family and the inhabitants of her town. Moving but not depressing and not too mawkish
The Probable Future - Alice Hoffman - love love this one, about a family who always have girls and the girls all have special powers which they get on turning 13. The mother and daughter in the family don't get on and the daughter gets her power which creates a lot of problems. I think this is brilliant about family relationships and about how doing what you think is right quite often has the opposite result! If you like The Time-travellers wife I think you would like this one.
This Book Will Save Your Life - A.M. Homes - not a self help book but a very funny book set in LA which has a bit of wish fulfillment, very funny things about starting over and making changes and it is a lot of fun.
If you fancy a bit of a classic then I would really recommend Evelyn Waugh - Scoop. It is a very funny satire on journalism which is just as relevant now and it makes me laugh every single time I read it!
I love reading and would love to read other recommendations myself!I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills
