Happy anniversary Aussie, and sweet dreams Silver charming...GO back to BED! There's nothing worse then no sleep and if you have the choice, take it!
Last day of the hols today - back in the office tomorrow for two days of meetings and INSET, then back out to see the new case load. Don't know what we'll get this year as most were Yr11 last year so have 'ceased'. Looking forward to going back anyway, which I never did as a classroom teacher!
Scary to think that this time next week OH will have had his interview at the embassy and out fate will have been decided - fingers crossed, but hopes not high.
Mum's birthday tomorrow, so i need to go and buy a gift to take round tomorrow. Then I'm taking her out for a meal in the evening.
Better get up - neeed to practise for tomorrow!

well weather looks promising so the washing machine is on already. will try and get all the harder to dry things like towels done first.
later need to do the monthly shop. noticed a lot of price rises in the butchers dept yesterday when I popped in so I will need to be more careful with meal planning. things which used to be 2 for £5 or £6 were 2 for £8!!!
DS goes to uni this month though so that is one less big mouth to feed!! although I think it will take a bit of adjusting cooking for three after all these years of feeding 4
must do windows today. the sun is showing up all the marks. apart the bathrooms the rest of the house just needs a quick hoover.
if I have time I will get some more weeding done.
hope everyone is well, those who are poorly feel better..and those who are celebrating have fun!x x x0 -

HI there
Happy Anniversary to Mr and Mrs AussieLass and a gold campaign medal to Mr Aussie! Yes, Aussie, you made me tit-ter with your last post!
Welcome back to all those who have been on their hols.
Why am I sat here when I said I would get all my chores done first? I sat down to turn out my handbag which was full of receipts and was getting on my nerves. I even found some confetti in it and I didn't even take this bag to DS2's wedding! Anyway, I found £15 in notes wrapped up with a receipt and nearly £5 in small silver which will go in my 'silver' money box. I'm better off than I thought but ashamed that I was careless to lose the notes - I could have shredded them! Now I'm hoping that I haven't shredded any in the past. Note to self: check your receipts more often!
Would you believe that the sun is shining here at the moment? I'm sure I'm not imagining it!
Well, I'd better go and get some more work done. I intend to leave the house at 9.30 so that I'll have time to get all the errands done and still visit the gym.
See you all later.

welcome back n9aev - for some reason I thought this was a shorter trip and was then worried that you'd been kidnapped by white slave traders in soho.
Welcome back too dubgirl
happy anniversary Aussielass - goodness that man deserves a telegram from the queen at least
Well we have a day of mega shopping today to get all of dd's bits for school - I hate being this disorganised. This will take for ever as we are going with dd(19) who lives to shop and dd(11) will walk up and down the high stree t 7 times if she thinks she can save 50p. We are also changing up her money. she took 150 dollars to canada and spent ..... 10 and 55 euros to france and spent ...... 10 - she's keeping a bit and then putting the rest in her university account. She did manage to get me a pressie though - a lovely candle and honey soap from a [STRIKE]beeery[/STRIKE] ...... [STRIKE]bee farm [/STRIKE]..... [STRIKE]bee zoo [/STRIKE]..... [STRIKE]hivariam[/STRIKE] ..... place where they keep bees.
have a good day

Man-troos are out at work, miss troo is going out job/training hunting in a bit.
We have some feather edge timber left over from when we made the fence, I'm going to try to make a small card stand out of it, do you think it'll work? I also need some new card designs by friday  but have no inspiration whatsoever
I made a mental list of things to do today, I'm way ahead of the day's plan already so I'll [strike]search the net for card ideas to steal[/strike] see if inspiration will strike
