Morning Cas, (and everyone)
I know what you mean, we would all love a a hot summer holiday, but it really is out of our reach for all the reasons you have mentioned. We can but dream hey??!! Especially when looking out on a grey, wet, January morning.
I hope you have a lovely Sunday.

Hi Girls,
Thanks for all your queries as to where Ive gone!
Life has been hectic - started 2nd job and took severe pain in my eye which ended in a trip to A&E Sat - Virus in my eye (in other words, they dont know what was wrong with it!) All better now but would love to know what it was1 DH, as supportive as ever said if Id been a rabbit theyd have shot me for maximatosis!!! Bless!
Today will be the 1st day of goin straight to 2nd job at 5:30. Hope I can keep it up! The money is useful! Should earn about £2000 extra but not any immediate use with my debts cause I have payment plans set up and the money is more needed from week to week (as I have £40 in my hand once I have paid my debts each week for food, fuel and extra's!) Any ideas? I have 2 cr cards - 1 is £4000 and the other £3500. My loan has £6000 left to pay but if I pay off any of these it still costs me too much/month! Oh I am USELESS at this!!
Anyhow, good to hear everyone else is good.
SH are you ok?Debt - £10,000

Hi girls thanks for all the messages of support and sorry for neglecting you.
I have been seriously freaked out by job hunting again and the current economic climate. The agencies were encouraging about me and my CV but were cautious about the job market. I applied for about 10 jobs. I've been turned down for 1, put forward for another and am waiting to see if I'm shortlisted on a 3rd. Not heard about the other 7 yet.
I've also had some family problems which were quite unsettling. Nothing majorly news worthy just needed more attention...
Irish chick hope you're eye is now sorted and that you settle in to your second job.
Cas and Belle hope you are both okay - you sound like your lives are quite busy too.
Ruby - good luck with the new job. Hope things are going alright with your brother's treatment too.
bye for now, I promise to try and keep in touch regularly again.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hi SH, glad you are ok. Keep your nerve out there in the job hunting world, you will get a job, might just take a bit of time in this climate. I will keep my fingers crossed.
Cas, get yourself off to bed huni and avoid the germs. I hope it passes you by. (still chuckle every time I think of 'tucker' on dancing on ice).
I'm about to settle down and watch Waterloo Road.
Hope everyone else is ok.The good you do comes back to you.DFW Long haul supporters No: 1340 -
