I did work from home until yesterday but i was made redundant, thankfully have a new job lined up starting at some time over the next week or 2 in a bank xx
Congratulations on the new job so soon, that is good news.
Did you enjoy working from home? Were you able to stay motivated, or did you find yourself putting the washing on and maybe watching loose women?
or is that just meThe good you do comes back to you.DFW Long haul supporters No: 1340 -
Yes i was told 2 weeks before xmas and i was worried coz of bills and debt etc, just applied for every job and went to 3 interviews for the job in the bank and found out just a day or 2 before xmas that i got it
Before i had my baby, i spent all day doing 5/6 hours work because i did get distracted by housework or tv etc but after i went back after having her i just knuckled down and got on with it, sooner i finished the sooner i collected her!
I am sure you will enjoy working from home a day or 2 a week and then going out to work will be good aswell. I haven't "gone" out to work for 3 yrs since doing the work from home job, slightly nervous.0 -
I'm sure you will love it. You are bound to be nervous, but it'll soon go when you get into a routine. I used to work in a bank and loved it. I really hope it works out for you, I'm sure it will.
What date do you start? I start my new job on 2nd Feb and I found out just before Christmas as well. What a coincidence!!

I don't mind you asking at all. I am 43 and I have two children. DS is 13 (14 in March) and DD is 5 (6 in March). Hence the term time only working and covering school holidays!!!
15 months is a lovely age, they are learning so much and smiley at that age.
