  • Morning ladies, well day one of new job and I am AT HOME!!!!
The snow did come to us as well, the meeting I was supposed to be attending this morning was cancelled and the roads on my 30 mile trip to work were pretty bad, so the advice all round was stay home. Very weird.

DS school shut, so he is out playing in the snow with mates. DD school open much to her disgust!!

How has it impacted on everyone else??

Ruth, what a shame you haven't had any snow? Perhaps a benilyn day is called for instead? Glad to hear you are feeling more cheerful, hang on in there hun, it'll be worth it.

  • Hi Ruby
That makes it a very odd start to a new job doesn't it! Still nice to be at home!
I am also at home, but supposedly working catching up on some reports but am going to have to turn off internet if I keep coming back on here as I have been doing instead of writing!

all for one and one for all !:D
tracy thats awful for this morning , how frustrating, still snow is snow :D poor DD fancy her school being open. mine went to school this morning and were sent home at lunch time, they are out sledging ( see hills come in useful for something)

i was fully prepared to walk to work today, ( but I had parked my car on the main road just in case it was clear ;) ) we had about 4 inches of snow and our road was unpassable as it is very steep) however the gritters had done their job on the main routes and I had a clear run almost to work had to abandon it about 100yards away. i was very surprised all my 'old dears' made their way in for their appointments but the youngsters (well 20 somethings) didnt bother coming or even ringing to cancel
    its snowing heavily now

YB I think snowman building is far more important than writing reports :D
Ruth i'll build one for you :snow_grin

SH glad you had a better weekend x
  • That is very weird, reading your name!
