Hi Ruby - hope you are keeping your chin up... I was talking to a friend yesterday who has cancer - and told her to get her best crystal out - I use mine 2-3 times a week (just for me LOL) as I think well otherwise what's the point of having it... Make each day special that's all you can try and do...

anyway off to bed now... Hope you have an okay day tomorrow... God bless

  • Hi everyone, my db has had his first course of chemo and is doing well, so all the positive thinking and prayers are working so far!!

Thanks for all your kind thoughts and wishes.

I cannot believe Christmas is next week!!  I seem to be so very disorganised now, only done a little wrapping so far.

How is everyone else doing? You all seem so organised.

Some good news I got the new job, had the interview and got told I was successful on the same day, so I am very pleased about that. Start at the beginning of Feb.

Signing off to make lists about lists!!

I've been reading your diary, I hope it's not too late to pop in and say hi.

Sorry to hear about your brother.

I hope everyone is ready for christmas,

  • :j Well done on getting the job Ruby - will it be a lot different , and most importantly, can you still work from home sometimes?
Positive thoughts still heading your way for your brother, glad first chemo went well.
I'm sure the Christmas stuff will get done - well, it'll have to won't it LOL!:rotfl:
I haven't wrapped a thing, and it's all squirrelled away in different places so need to get my act together soon I think. No tree up here yet either so that is my priority. I've been poorly and OH has been away so we must sort that out.
    Best wishes to all

starting to look forward to it now, we normally go to the pictures xmas eve and hopefully we can find something we all want to watch. although I dont finish work till 4pm we should still have time.
I like to peel my veg and set the table xmas eve to save a bit of time on the day. what do the rest of you do?
