  • Hello to everyone,
Well that is Christmas over for another year!! We had a really lovely time at in-laws, spoilt a little by the 5 hour car journey back on a trip that normally takes 3.

Relaxed day today tidying up the house and doing food shopping.

Hope you are all ok and that the festivities went smoothly for you.

My jeans are feeling a little tight so I will be eating better come the new year.

Just off to have a mince pie!!!!

xmas is over for another year . Had a lovely time and had some lovely presents too .I feel very fortunate.
It was very busy xmas day and boxing day, but lovely and quiet since.
off to see Robin Hood at the birmingham hippodrome on friday so looking forward to that and spending a couple of days with my mum
At work so I'd better be off before I get caught

    Happy new year everyone
I hope you all have some good fortune in 2009

    love to all xx
  • Hello everyone

Glad to see you've all enjoyed Christmas. I've been away to see my mum and sister but back now to welcome in 2009. I'm not good at keeping resolutions but I would like to
    • keep up posting on this thread and the 'what small things..' one as they do keep me focused. I love the company on this one especially!
    • lose some weight - not very focused on that one, but would be good for me, and do more exercise
    • do more 'jobs' around the house. Life gets so hectic that things get left but need to decorate and have a bit of a spring clean/rearrange
    • keep on top of my finances and keep OH in check ( easier said than done)
    • grow some veg in my garden - tried an allotment but was too much to keep up with
    • enjoy time with my family - they seem to grow so fast , made myself cry looking at baby pics today! Must make the most of every day - a friend's eldest son was killed last year and although I know how devasting it has been, I just can't begin to imagine what it must really feel like
So that's me, wishing you all a happy and prosperous new year for 2009. Look forward to seeing you all here on Ruby's diary soon

    Belle
    xx
    Getting there...slowly! :D

    GC : must do better
    NSD: very rare

No matter how slow I go I am lapping everyone on the couch.

    Hi IC,
never stupid, I had to ask as well.

Click on 'user cp' at the top of the page and then you will get an option to edit signature on the left hand menu.

    Hope that helps.

Hi to everyone else, hope all is well.

HI hope everyone is okay. We decided to say no to the reccie job for OH so will look to stay where we are for now. On current calculations - hope we will be debt free by Feb 2010 which is 2 months better than my DFD a few months ago.

    Joined £2 club sister cas.

Hope to pay off 1 credit card in March approx £1K
If keep job will pay off a further £5-6K from stoozing accounts in April which would leave us just one large credit card to pay...

So just need to pray we both keep our jobs now.

Hope Ruby that things are going better for you and your family.

    Hope everyone else okay too.
