Hi all. We pretty much always have an artificial tree - I personally think real trees are a waste of money and too messy! I've spent a whole 96p on an extra light set but other than that just plan to reuse everything from last year. I'm sure it will all look lovely anyway. I've been desperate to put up the decs for ages but because of work commitments I've either not been at home to do it - or to exhausted to!
We're off this weekend for that interview thing for OH... so will have to see how that goes too...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

just popped on for a chunter. I am fed up of scrimping and doing without when the rest of them just do or have what they want, they leave lights on all over. buy whatever they want.I dont see why I spend so much time trying meal plan and budget when they are off doing what they want

We used to always have a real tree, had artificial for last two years, but may get a real one this year - just feel like it really!
Had good news at work , been put up a grade and will get some back pay so although it's not a fortune it is very welcome.

Thanks for thinking of me Cas, those spoons sound great. I sat down one evening last week and made up seven snowman soup, two of which went to school the next day for DD xmas fayre. Interestingly enough the office manager liked them so much I don't think they made it to a stalll!!!
I hope you are all well and enjoying the lead up to xmas.
Who is doing christmas cards this year?? I am thinking of giving it a miss for a number of reasons really, recycling, cost, time, etc. etc. I would be interested to know what you are all doing?
