Hi Ruby - you're doing brilliantly and it's great you started a diary. You've given me so much encouragement over the past couple of months, thank you. I know the feeling you talked about, that finally you're in control. I've started doing what you're doing, putting money that has been budgetted for other things aside, so I don't just dip into it, and living on £100 cash a week for all shopping. It makes a huge difference. I also recogniose those head banging against the wall moments too, of "how could we have been so stupid?" Self-awareness isn't always easy, but we're here for each other on this board and on the road to getting out of our debt messes. I look forward to keeping up with your diary!

Hi there FMN,
Thanks for reading my diary and your very kind words. Like you said we are all here to support each other and it is great that we have all had our LBM instead of blindly carrying on with our old ways.
Good luck with your DMP I will be popping in regularly to read how you are getting along.

Also Sistercas, this is a lovely store to buy the toppings if you were thinking of doing flannel cup cakes like the pictures linked to earlier in the diary.
http://shop.ebay.co.uk/merchant/how6456
Some nice cases, white or coloured flannels or socks folded into them, then a lovely soap or bath bomb sat on top!!!
I am planning on giving as many as these out as I can, will definetly give to DD's teachers.
LOL
