Hiya everyone
Just a quick one because I really need to get off this laptop!! I have spent most of last night and all of this morning so far (since about 8.30am) surfing the net for basket contents for xmas.
I have decided to make four (maybe six) baskets for my two nieces, best friend, sister and two sister in laws.
So far I have purchased the following:20 Cup cake cases (to make flannel cakes)6 white flannels8 strawberry bath bombs
Cellophane 10m & 5m and 15 red bows
Nail files and sticks
6 x body shop bath lillyshaven't even got the baskets yet!!
I am thinking of putting such things as:
handbag sized magazine
face masks
hot choc
socks
trouble is I have become completely obsessed and need to stop!! Perhaps when the ironing has been done, DD has been taken to the party she is going to later this afternoon and most of all I am dressed, I can start again!!!!
Signing off now, before I start searching again.
LOL

Troll reported re deeplyindebt. Folks - don't respond to him/her please - all his/her post will be removed by a mod shortly.
Make a list of important things to do today. At the top, put 'eat chocolate'. Now, you'll get at least one thing done today.

I love your sig Carolyn - that's my kind of list!
I am trying to wade thro 3 weeks ironing - I look like I'm running a laundrette from the front room and that's when there's only 4 of us! One of my other rooms looks like I'm running a finished baskets shop!
Anyway hi all again.... keep up the good work Sister Cas, Belle and Ruby!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Flannel cake - is that edible or a type of soap I haven't heard of ?:rotfl:
Hi to Ruby, Cas, SH and all who've posted ( except the troll :rotfl:).
Hope you've all had a good day, it's been nice weather for a change here so managed some washing on the line. Enjoyed just being at home with the family, did a bit of cooking and cleaning but was very relaxed. Am all ready for work tomorrow ( early start  ) and have meal plans at the ready.
Those baskets are amazing. I can't see me being able to concoct one for the people I need to buy for. I might post a profile and see what you all suggest! :rotfl:) Am getting a little anxious that you are all ready for Christmas and it's still 3 months and 11 days away
Night from me - see you all soon

you can read how to make calorie free cupcakes using socks or flannels - you can also read about how to make yule logs or reindeers using flannels, bells and pipecleaner. I think they look fab. Having bought 6 flannels for £1 and 4 soaps for less than £1 I am almost set!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Oh my goodness!
You can all make THOSE! They look fantastic.
I don't have an artistic bone in my body, and feel completely inferior now. Need to go for a lie down.
