Well have managed to get a cold from my visit to see OHs family they were all loaded with the cold but didn't think to let us know that they weren't well before we went.... i would rather have missed out on a free dinner than feeling like this!

When i got home last night i wanted to get a start on ebay stuff so i decided to load my software on my pc and make some space at my desk. I pulled out the computer desk and there was mould and damp on the walls behind it so i pulled it all out and cleaned the walls, back of the pc and the set of drawers. I have emptied everything out and it is now all over the livingroom again this place is a mess :o

I wanted to get some stuff listed on ebay today but am not having much luck.

I need to get this mess in some sort of order but really don't have the energy to do anything today and it makes me mad.

    Today i have done:

    - put washing on
    - put a load in the tumble drier
    - have emptied bins
    - have emptied out two drawers
    - put £1.00 in gold toy pig for £365 challenge

Things i would still like to do today:

    - put 1 thing on ebay
    - tidy sofa so i can sit on it again
    - check all bank accounts
    - make my payment for toady
    - update diary again of things i have done
    - clear out baskets of paperwork in livingroom
    - put on another load of washing

    Wish me luck

    Hey

    Update on earlier list

    - put 1 thing on ebay
    - tidy sofa so i can sit on it again - done although most stuff is now back on floor
    - check all bank accounts - done no changes
    - make my payment for today - done
    - update diary again of things i have done - currently doing
    - clear out baskets of paperwork in livingroom - cleared out 2
    - put on another load of washing - done another 2

Only thing thats not been done on the list is the ebay item. I have looked out a lot of things that can go on ebay i just haven't got around to putting anything on yet.

I still have 33 mins so it could still be done but i don't want to rush it :p

I only have one more day off before i go back to work on Tuesday so 2moro im going to do the following things:

    - Clear out the other 7 baskets of stuff in the living room
    - Sort out dried clothes and towels from washing
    - Locate both work uniforms and shoes
    - Sort out work lottery tickets and payments spreadsheet
    - List 10 things on ebay
    - Finish all washing
    - Clean bathroom
    - Check all bank accounts
    - Put £1 in toy pig
    - Make my payment a day
    - update diary

Going to go see what i have looked out to list for ebay

Well todays to do list is as follows:

    - Clear out the other 7 baskets of stuff in the living room - have done 4 of these so far only 3 to go
    - Sort out dried clothes and towels from washing
    - Locate both work uniforms and shoes
    - Sort out work lottery tickets and payments spreadsheet
    - List 10 things on ebay - listed 2 new items (but 4 in total as they are buy it nows and i have 2 of each) still 8 to go
    - Finish all washing
    - Clean bathroom
    - Check all bank accounts
    - Put £1 in toy pig - will do when i go through to bed
    - Make my payment a day
    - update diary

That's not a bad start and it wasn't that bad listing the items on ebay i actually quite enjoyed it :o so i'll try and get most of the other things done so i can spend at least an hour listing on ebay.

The living room is starting to resemble a living room again which is quite good. The christmas decorations are still up but they will need to come down but not sure if i will do it 2moro but i think i will cause i don't fancy seeing them up when i come home from work on Tuesday night.

Will see how far i get with the other things on my list before i do anything else.

Hey Mrs P thanks for dropping in. Lists are only good if you actually do the stuff thats on them!!!!

Well here is my updated list:

    - Clear out the other 7 baskets of stuff in the living room - have done 4 of these so far only 3 to go - 3 baskets still to do
    - Sort out dried clothes and towels from washing - done
    - Locate both work uniforms and shoes - done
    - Sort out work lottery tickets and payments spreadsheet - done
    - List 10 things on ebay - listed 2 new items (but 4 in total as they are buy it nows and i have 2 of each) still 8 to go - never done
    - Finish all washing - still to do
    - Clean bathroom - done and cleared out both medicine cabinet and cabinet under sink :j
    - Check all bank accounts - done
    - Put £1 in toy pig - will do when i go through to bed - done
    - Make my payment a day - done £5 to fiance
    - update diary - done now!

Well i did the majority of the things on my list. The other thing i did was clearing out the bathroom cabinets you would be amazed what i found in there!!! I have enought bath foam, handwash, shampoo and conditioner to do me for this year and that is just under the sink. I have so much more in other cupboards and boxes all over the place so will need to clear these out 2.

I have managed to fling out everything that was out of date and anything that i wouldn't use i have passed to my mum to see if she wants any of it before it goes to the charity shop or the bin depending on whats left.

The other thing i did tonight was some ironing  which i try and get out of at any opportunity! Another shock horror is that i sat tonight and have sewn two buttons onto my work shirts.... they fell off about a year ago and thats me just getting round to doing it :o

    My list for 2moro is:

    - Go to work
    - Make sandwiches for lunch at work
    - Go to 2nd Job
    - Check bank accounts
    - Make my payment a day
    - Check ebay account and relist unsold items
    - Put £1 in gold toy pig
    - Get petrol
    - update diary

Wish me luck for being back at work 2moro with a horrible cold :(

    Hey

Mrs P i love cross stitch but haven't done any in ages just can't find the time but i do miss it so may need to try and fit it in some where!

I can't believe im still up at this time but im starting to get tired so will go to sleep soon.... probably after iv finished writing this!

I've been making my payments a day and putting my £1 away every day so i feel as though im getting somewhere.... not very far as at the moment my debt has actually increased this month already even with all the extra payments but not through me spending purely just through the interest being added to my MBNA account. Once i have made the minimum payment it should look alot better.... I hope!

I did a new snowball calculator which gives me a debt free date of 64 months away..... May 2015 which is better than any of the dates i've had before so thats not too bad. I also looked at what would happen if i paid off the debts in balance order and its not much different..... it would be August 2015 before they are paid off. This has made me decide that im going to set myself small challenges to pay these off.

Im going to start by paying off my fiance before the end of the month. I only owe him £15 which i could give him out my purse just now but i don't want to do that as it might leave me short for the rest of the week but i am going to pay him back by the 31st January 2010.

The next one that im going to tackle is the house account debt as it is the second smallest debt. I would like to have this paid off by May at the latest. It is £170.30 which would mean paying off just under £43 per month but im going to give it a shot..... hopefully paying it off earlier.

Then the next target will be the Santander card.

Im still going to pay all the minimum payments on each of my other cards and continue to do my Payment a day to the higher interest cards but any other spare money will go to the debts to clear them as i think i will get a better sense of satisfaction seeing the amount of debts on my list reduce.

Im going to go to a local wedding fair later on today so i better get some sleep. We aren't any where near making plans but we thought it might be nice to go have a wander round and there was also the mention of free food so will see what happens ;)

    Nite

Good plan, reducing the number of debts will simplify things a lot. August 2015 sounds really soon to me!
    Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.62

Hey Buddiebabe - well done on using the snowball calculator (although I've seen enough snow to last me a lifetime - its snowing here again). I'm still too scared to use that thing - I know it would demoralise me.

Not got off the best of starts that I would have liked to this year - have had to dip into savings, but now it will STOP. I don't think it helped that I had two weeks off work over Christmas and only 2 days in work last week because of the weather. I am starting to worry about tomorrow as well. There is no problem - I will be paid, but I am concerned about the amount of work piling up - there is only so much I can do from home. But we will see!

    take care xx
