Well thats my holiday officially over and its so depressing in 7 hours i'll be getting up and having to get ready and put a brave face on things. Sometimes i get excited about going back to work and seeing people i haven't seen for a while but this time im feeling rather upset and quite down..... which i really didn't expect.

I've not had a very productive week off well not as productive as i had planned but i have managed to do some things i wanted but the house is in a worse mess than it was when my holiday started.

When im tidying i always have to pull everything out and start from there. I've done the same this time but gave up after the first day so there is stuff everywhere and i hate it!

It makes me angry that i now feel like i've wasted my week off and i don't like feeling like this cause i have enjoyed just relaxing and spending time with my boyfriend but i can feel myself getting angry and upset... :o

Am going to go and read a few pages of my book before i go to sleep and i hope that in the morning i'll be a bit more positive when i wake

    Nite Nite

    Hey

    Well i have some news:

I GOT ENGAGED ON FRIDAY :j:j:j

It had been planned for a while but the ring wasn't ready until Friday and although it was going to be Tuesday the 1st December we couldn't wait to tell everyone.

On the money saving / debt busting front not much progress this month. In fact i may have increased my debt but haven't worked it all out yet so am going to do that now and will update once i have checked all my figures and accounts

    Hey

    Thanks for the congratulations.

It's not been a good month debt busting wise but it has been good in other ways.

Well as it's going to be the 1st of December in a few hours i thought i better come and update so here goes:

    SANTANDER ZERO £390.62

    TOTALS:
    OVERDRAFTS £800.00 no change
    LOANS £8860.36 now £8541.13
    CREDIT CARDS £19587.82 now £19668.62

TOTAL OUTSTANDING JANUARY £33180.86 now APRIL £31166.01 now MAY £30771.60 now JUNE £30340.62 now JULY £30859.47 now AUGUST £30616.86 now SEPTEMBER £29913.37 now OCTOBER £30461.06 now NOVEMBER £29248.14 now DECEMBER £29009.75 total paid off from 1.01.09 £4171.11

Well as you'll be able to see from above there is a new credit card on the list. Santander Zero which i have been using this month for petrol, food and other necessities :o it is 0% for 3 months from the first day of use so am hoping to clear it before the 3 months runs out. I have just paid the first statement today and i have £90.62 put away towards the next statement already so it's only £300 to find in the next 3 months

Ok first the bad points of last month:

    - Had my weeks holiday but didn't get everything i wanted done
    - Didn't pay off as much as i would have liked to
    - Have added another credit card to the list
    - Am still living in a house that looks like a rubbish dump
    - Wood round my window in the living room is rotten now and covered in damp
    - My blinds in the living room have all broken and some of them are falling off.... think this is due to the water getting in and the damp

Good things that happened last month:

    - Got Engaged :j
    - Didn't increase my debt
    - Had a weeks holiday off from both jobs so had a break
    - Been to one xmas night out that nearly everything was paid for only ended up spending £2.00

So things still arent great but they aren't too bad either!

This month i have only managed to pay off £238.39 from my debt but the good thing about that is i haven't left myself short for December. I decided to just pay everything that needed paying (minimum where possible) to see just how tight things were. So although i haven't paid off too much this month the debt has still went down and i haven't been as stressed wondering where the money was going to come from to eat.

Im going to make a list of everything that needs paying this month and then work out where, when and how it will all be paid for

Well done - and you are well inside the 20s now. Do make sure you pay off that Santander card - you don't want it staying around to haunt you after the 3 months is up.

Yeah i definately want it gone. I applied for it about 8 months ago and had completely forgotten about it until it arrived!!! It only has a credit limit of £500 on it and i can't get the online banking part of it to work despite numerous attempts the only reason im using it at the moment is that last month i left myself so short of money paying every spare penny towards the debt that i had no other option this month or i wouldnt have managed to get petrol to get me to my work.

If im using it now im making sure i have the money in my current account available and as soon as its used im transferring the money into my savings so i can pay as much as i can of it off before the 0% runs out.

    Hey

Well i have made my list for the month and i think i have most of it covered!

I have one xmas night out left this month which i have a bit of money saved for (£80 i had put away in my work) which i was given today and i have left in full view on my desk tonight  i just hope that its there when i get in 2moro morning :o:o:o if its not i don't know what i'll do.

I don't intend to spend all of this on the night out i have my dress and shoes and bag so know i don't need to worry about that just money for drinks and if we do a kitty it shouldn't be that bad.

I haven't really bought many xmas presents yet and have no idea what to get anyone so am trying to buy a little thing every day until i have everyone's done.

I got my mum some chocolates today which are going to be for her birthday as its on the 24th December.

I also got her a xmas pudding £1.00 and a box of mince pies £1.00 am making her up a xmas hamper so am trying to pick up stuff thats on offer so im not spending too much money.

Am going for lunch with a few girls from work 2moro to celebrate my engagement so i need money for that but i get paid on Friday so am hoping the little money thats in my purse will last until then!

Off to check out the grabbit board to see if there are any bargains before i head to bed

    Hey

Not updated for a while have been online but not keeping an eye on the money situation.

Why is it that you go along for long enough doing your best watching every thing you do and then something crops up that makes you want to scream and you wonder why you bothered in the first place.

I am having a horrible day im in bed now surrounded by mess and just want to scream!!! I am really beginning to wonder what is the point to anything... sounds stupid i know but am getting so angry and wound up about silly little things at the moment i don't know if i want to scream or cry. I've had enough.

The house is a mess, im tired, i've been spending money as if i'd won the lottery today is my last day off before xmas but i have done nothing as it was my works xmas night out last night and i got really drunk so haven't been in a fit state to do anything!

I have to wrap up my secret santa present to take to work 2moro but i really cant be bothered doing it. If i could get a gift bag for it it would be so much easier but again i've left it to the last minute to do things....... i should have had all day! It doesn't help that my fiance has 6 days off between now and xmas but will he do anything.... no cause he's too busy lying on the couch watching tv or playing x box!

The xmas tree isn't up and at this rate it wont be going up either. One year i would love to have a nice xmas where everything was organised, paid for and wrapped.... i can see what will happen this year the same as every other i will be sitting on xmas eve wrapping pressies getting more and more depressed and tired and by the time that xmas comes i'll be in such a bad mood i wont be able to enjoy it.

Sorry for the rant but i needed to get it out somehow without loosing the plot and screaming and shouting. It has calmed me down a bit.

Better go wrap that pressie, hopefully my next post will be full of seasonal cheer
