Have managed to calm down a bit.... not much but a bit! Pressie is now wrapped and in bag to take to work... must say it is the worst looking pressie i have ever wrapped
usually i put so much effort into it for no thanks that this year i just decided to go with a standard gift set and spend the required amount. No additional extras i just cant afford them this year.
I always make up boxes for people in work small pressies last year i made about 10 of them for different people at work this year i have no notion or time for it so am not sure what to do... some people have already mentioned them but others have forgotten. Cant make up my mind will see how much time i have 2moro nite and take it from there!

Hiya buddiebabe - don't apologise for the rant, we have to let off steam now and then! Christmas can be quite depressing I think. I like some aspects but this year I too have got stressed out by the need to spend money on presents. And my house is a tip, too, and I know it will be at Christmas. So I wholly sympathise.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620

Merry Christmas everyone
Today has been a good day it was nice relaxing with the family nice dinner, presents and just not being at work has been good.
Am back at work 2moro, Sunday and all day Monday then am off Tuesday then working for 2 and a half hours on wed night then thats me off until the 5th January :j can't believe i have 5 full days off!!!! Its a miracle :j
I haven't been very good with money at all this month i've increased my tesco credit card debt by £500.00 with all the spending i've been doing this month. I really wanted this christmas to be special and my mum and dad didn't have much money so i bought all the food for xmas i just wanted this xmas to be special as it will probably be the last one in the family home so i wanted it to be as normal as possible for them.
I haven't went as over the top this year with the presents and i do have some things left to use as gifts for during the year and im going to buy as many things as i can in the sales to use for next year.
I have spent so much in the last month that im going to try so much harder to save for next year i'll be putting money away in my work bank every month i also want to put away morrisons stamps to cover the cost of all the xmas food for next year
Hope everyone has had a good day

Merry Christmas!! I'm glad you had a nice relaxing family day. Some things are worth spending money for.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620

Thanks Seaxwyn your right about spending the money and am so glad i did it. I wouldn't have had it any other way.
Am looking forward to going into work 2moro to pick up some bargains may have to spend some money but get some supplies for next years birthdays and xmas presents
There were quite a few things in the shop that i've had my eyes on for a while which are being reduced 2moro so i will be spending some of my xmas money on them (i know i shouldn't be spending but i was given some money which i would normally spend on my debts but am going to spend some on myself this year)
I am going to try and make 2010 my year for getting the debt down here's hoping.... i have joined the £10,000 in 2010 challenge and am going to do my best to do that. If i can it will mean i will be able to clear my debt so much earlier if i can do this challenge.... no idea how i'll manage but will give it my best shot!

Happy New Year :j
Hope everyone had a good one. Me and OH went to one of the girls from works houses it was nice, quiet and civilised for a change we had a really good time got home about 2am and made micro chips and cheese before going to bed! I didn't get up until 1pmand even then it was only cause i was going to mums for dinner.
Cant believe it is now the 2nd January 2010 where does the time go???
Well yesterday i did the following:
- Made my PAD of £2.76 to various credit cards
- have put my £1.00 in my gold toy pig to start my £365 in 365 days challenge
- Relisted 9 items on ebay and 3 new items
- decided that my £10k in 2010 challenge is going to be a running total of everything i pay instead of deducting interest as i already do that on here so at the end of the year i can see exactly how much interest i have paid
- did my daily clicks on quidco
- did surveys that were sent to me (don't you just hate it how you get half way through and then they say sorry its full!!!)
I am in the process of reading through the posts on here and other diarys i need to catch up on.... i really should be in bed (well technically i am but am not sleepy)
I have started sorting out my book i keep a note of all my money in.... by ripping out all the pages with last years stuff on it and starting nice new pages.... still have some of this to do
Here is today's to do list:
1. Make a payment a day
2. Put £1.00 in gold toy pig
3. Put one thing on ebay
4. Finish updating money book
5. Do new snowball calculator (all interest rates have gone up need to amend with new accounts)
6. Do some sort of cleaning / washing / tidying / clearing out
That will do for now will see how far i get
