Hey that sounds very positive - especially coming from someone who is feeling sick!
I'm very impressed by all the savings pots, that's something I've never managed.
It looks like everything is in place for 2009 to be the year you make big inroads into those accursed debts.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
Well i did manage to do some productive things today.... and that wasn't just lying on the couch watching daytime tv.... honest :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I checked all my online accounts, updated my snowball calculator, posted on here!!!, did the competitions and one clickthrough on pigsback, entered my details for some freebies and did some stuff through quidco.
I also managed to sort out a bag of stuff to go to the charity shop and also got rid of two bags of rubbish... and my house is still a mess!!!!
I've so much stuff still to do in the house i just don't know where to start  im good at writing lists of what i want to do but they never seem to come to anything.
Im not going to go back to work until Friday am feeling a bit better but i don't want to chance going back too soon so will see how i feel 2moro before i decide for definate!
So if im feeling a bit better 2moro i intend to do the following ten things:
1. List 10 items on ebay
2. Check all my online accounts
3. Do pigsback daily quizes
4. Check quidco for any other things i can do
5. Sort out a box of paperwork i have lying around
6. Iron 10 items of clothing
7. Do the competitions in That's life magazine i bought last week
8. Apply for 5 more freebies
9. Enter 10 competitions
10. Go for a nice relaxing bath
I added a few things that i will enjoy so it doesn't seem like too much like hard work.... i know i'll definately do no 2, 7 and 10
I suppose i should really go to bed now but i've been dozing for most of the day so am not that tired.... will browse MSE for a wee while yet

Well i've managed 5 out of the 10 things so far so its been a good day so far. Most of it's the easy stuff that i've done
I checked all my accounts and the interest has been added to RBS MC 2 which brings it up to £5429.22. The minimum payment for this is £122.00 (i have this put away in my bank to cover this :j ) i paid £7.22 to pay off the odds so that will bring it down to £5422.00
I did get up this morning to find my livingroom curtains soaking wet and water coming in the window  its coming from the upstairs flat so i phoned the landlord of the flat upstairs and she said she'd get someone out to look at it... its not going to be today tho!!! So will just need to persevere with the bucket and towels at the moment.
Going to go get something to eat and read the paper my mums just brought round

Morning!
Well im going back to work today.... still not feeling 100% but i've missed training that i have to have and today is the last day of it so need to go in.
I managed to iron about 30 things last night, although did manage to forget to iron anything that i can wear for workso will need to go track down my uniform now and see what state its in
I listed another 7 things on ebay last night and one is already selling for £10.50 so thats quite good considering its only on a 3 day listing and started at 99p!!!
I also went for my nice long relaxing bath so managed to 7 things on my list which was not too bad.
Anyway i'd better get a move on and get to work just hope i last the day am feeling worse today than i did the past few days. I don't intend to do anything other than get to work 2day and if i can last all day i'll be quite happy!

Hey
Am not having too much of a good time at the moment. Im trying so hard to get everything paid and to get my debt down, but with xmas coming up im finding it really hard. I've been selling as much stuff as i can on ebay but the money just seems to be disappearing
I feel like im just getting nowhere. I've paid off some money this month but nothing like i should of with the amount that i've made on ebay. I also got overtime money from my work and my 2nd job wages have been a bit higher but i seem to be overspending. I also emptied my cash savings at work to get some xmas presents but ended up using the money for bills and stuff
I have paid all the bills that are due this month and there is still a week left. I just feel like i should be doing so much more than i am but am just soooo tired.
I think i might need to go back to the doctors as im starting to feel really down again. I need to do something to try and get me out of the mood im in at the moment.
There are 7 days left this month so im going to set some goals for things i want to get done by the end of the month.
1. Pay mum £15.25 to bring what i owe her down to £600.00
2. Sort out all my ebay emails, paperwork and update my spreadsheet daily
3. List at least one item on ebay every day
4. Check all my accounts daily
5. Do any surveys i get daily
6. Clear my email inbox everyday
7. Post on here and update what i have done each day to try and save money
So we will see if i can do any of the above... I was going to make it one thing a day but 7 things each day shouldn't take too long.
At the moment my debt is now £33792.91 and will take 91 months to clear  so at the moment i've paid off £276.96 this month which i suppose is a step in the right direction but i dont feel like its good enough.
Im owed £56 from my boyfriend for his share of the xmas pressies bought so am hoping he'll give me that money soon and i can use £15.25 of that to give to my mum. If not i'll try and use some of my 2nd job wages to pay that amount to her on Friday.

Hi buddiebabe, how are you doing? I haven't seen any posts from you for a while, hope you're OK.
Hope you had a merry Christmas, and hope 2009 is a better year for all of us.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
Hey
Hope everyone had a good christmas.
I've not had much time to do anything lately and i've not been feeling too good. All i seem to be doing is working and getting no where fast with my debts. Im hoping that 2009 is a much better year.
I've checked and updated all my accounts and am not expecting any changes .... apart from my car which is in the garage today to see if they can find out whats wrong with it??? so if that doesn't cost too much i will be starting 2009 with the following amounts outstanding:
OVERDRAFTS:
ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND £698.10
LOANS:
MUM £583.00
ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND £11045.76
CREDIT CARDS:
DEBENHAMS £660.00
MBNA £4140.00
ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND MC 1 £9100.00
ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND MC 2 £5314.00
TESCO £1640.00
TOTALS:
OVERDRAFTS £698.10
LOANS £11628.76
CREDIT CARDS £20854.00
TOTAL OUTSTANDING £33180.86
Its not as bad as it could have been but its still not great. Based on me paying £650.00 a month it will take 88 months to clear my debts so my debt free date will be April 2016.
My mortgage is now on the standard variable rate which i was really dreading as i really need to know what my payments are every month, however, in January im saving £10.00 and then from February its nearly £30.00!!! so am not so worried about that.
The interest rate on my MBNA card goes up next month which is a jump of £50 a month in interest. So im not too sure about how to tackle that at the moment.
Im still doing both jobs at the moment. I've worked on average 30 - 40 hours in my 2nd job in the run up to xmas and now all the hours are being cut back to basic contracted hours and mine are 12 so im going to loose quite alot of money but on the other hand im going to gain alot of time back so im not sure if its a good or bad thingless money but more time on my hands....
Anyway am going to go clear out my kitchen cupboards just now and see what i have in for eating and what if anything i need to buy before new year.
Buddiebabe xDEBT OUTSTANDING 23.04.17 £16802.970 -
Well the car has survived for another day and this time it only cost £37.39 which is alot less than i expected so am really happy about this. My wages on Friday will cover this :T
I cleared out the cupboards in the kitchen and i was pleasantly surprised at just how much stuff i actually have. I do have a few things i need to get but im going out for dinner on the 1st and 2nd so i dont really need to buy anything until Saturday so its not too bad cause i'll have been paid again by then.
Im working most of the day 2moro then am off to a friends 2moro nite so probably wont get the chance to update before next year.
Happy New Year when it comes _party_
