Well my debt has increased from last month by £518.85. From the totals above you will see i now have a new debt to Skycard and also a loan from my boyfriend.

Things haven't been going too well over the last month. I have been working non stop and even when i do have a minute off i've been too tired to do anything. I have spent more money on my credit cards and i haven't been keeping an eye on anything i've been spending just keep spending when i know i have no money!!!

I took my car to the garage for its service which ended up costing me £240 only for them to tell me that if i wanted to get it fixed it would cost me in excess of £1000 which is so much more than the car is worth. That nearly pushed me over the edge! Now thanks to my lovely mum and dad i am now in the possession of their car which is safe and reliable and has no major problems that need fixed and they now own my clapped out car which from the outside looks like its just out the showroom but under the bonnet and under the bottom of the car its falling to bits!

I really need to try and get myself sorted out but at the moment its a struggle. I have spent tonight writing out a new book for all my figures to be kept in and i will try and update that every day if i can. I have also cleared out a whole load of paperwork that i just dont need anymore.

Ok so the positive things i have done....

I have a car that goes
I renegotiated my mobile phone contact and got a new phone, 400 mins and unlimited texts for £9.78 per month
The £600 that has been added to the Debenhams card is 0% for 12 months
My gas bill came in and it was only £73.25 compared to the £240 last quarter!
My electricity account is in credit so my direct debit has been reduced by £1 per month

I have managed to get all my savings up to date now so i have the following put away:

    Gas £35.00
    Repairs £422.39
    Insurance £160.00

    Road Tax £100.00
    Car Insurance £150.00
    MOT & Servicing £40.66

    TV licence £100.50

Well thats all i have to update just now i am going to try and transfer my tesco card balance to my debenhams card on the 0% but i need to wait until tesco send me a new card through. As long as its here before the 15th July i should be able to do that and once its paid off im going to cut up my Skycard as from August they are no longer giving you points for it so id rather not use it id rather use my tesco card and get clubcard points so at least i get something back when i pay my card off!

Think id better get some sleep. Im not sure when i will be able to update again but i will try to do it sooner rather than later

Hi Buddiebabe - thanks for the update. Even though your total has gone up this month you have done really well to pay off over £2,000 since January.

I'm not doing too well on the money front - I like to say that at the moment I am keeping the status quo. I'm not paying very much off the debts, but I'm also not adding to them. I'm desperately trying to keep my savings in tack though.

    take care.

Hey MrsP hope you don't mind me shortening your name.... :D thanks for dropping in.

Nothing much to report but i really need to make a start on getting the house in some kind of order so thought i would come on here and make a small list! So i want to get the following done today:

    1. Put Washing on
    2. Clean bathroom
    3. Clear table, stool and unit in the living room and start reclaiming some space from the junk!!!
    4. Get all the underwear out of the massive mountain of ironing.... think it might reduce quite drastically!!! Put said underwear away instead of leaving it out!
    5. Spend 15 mins on here just relaxing in between cleaning.

I've got about an hour to get some of this done as the boyfriend has gone out for a while so i need to get up of my backside and get on with it.... will update soon

    Hey

Well i managed to do most of the things on my list and did a few extra too!!!

    1. Put Washing on - done
    2. Clean bathroom - done
    3. Clear table, stool and unit in the living room and start reclaiming some space from the junk!!! - done and also cleaned and dusted all ornaments on the bookcase and cleared out the magazine rack
    4. Get all the underwear out of the massive mountain of ironing.... think it might reduce quite drastically!!! Put said underwear away instead of leaving it out! - well ive not managed to finish this... i have manage to rescue some underwear but wait for it.... i have actually done some ironing!!! yes that right i have done some ironing!!! and im still doing some in between being on here!
    5. Spend 15 mins on here just relaxing in between cleaning - didn't manage to do this either but made up for it this afternoon

I also managed to do some gardening.... only reason i stopped was because the wheelie bin was full  and i only dug up some weeds... from a small part of the garden there is still so much to do i the garden but it will need to wait until my next day off in about 2 weeks :o

Going to do the following before i go to bed i hope:

    1. Finish a basket of ironing
    2. Find some more underwear in the pile of stuff
    3. Sort out some of the pile of ironing into smaller more manageable piles
    4. Check online bank accounts
    5. Figure out what i need to put away for savings this month

    Wish me luck

    Hey

I haven't been around much lately i have been working every day and most nights and i now have the weekend off :j and so far i haven't done that much!!!

Im going out for dinner tonight for my boyfriends sisters birthday so i will need to make a start on getting ready soon as i never know what to wear :o then i start to panic and get upset. I know im just being silly but thats just me.

I havent listed anything new on ebay for ages so am not making any more money that way... i just don't have the time. I have managed to get the livingroom, kitchen, bathroom and hall tidied and am now clearing up every night before i go to bed so that when i wake up there is no mess. The bedroom on the other hand is a different story but am not worried about it too much.

Depending on how tonight goes i may try and get some stuff listed on ebay tomorrow. Will just wait and see what happens.

£1300 to my Debenhams card from my Tesco card for 0% for 12 months so it should make a difference with not having the interest to pay on that card. I really should have transferred money from my MBNA card but i need to clear the tesco card so i can use it for my shopping. I always use my sky card and clear it off every month but barclaycard who run the sky card have decided to do away with the sky points so there is no need for me to have that card.... i can still use it until the end of August to get points so that gives me until then to clear the balance off the Tesco card which will also mean that i have one less credit card to worry about as i will close the Sky card as i hate barclaycard!

I think it will take about 4 months to clear the tesco card if i pay it £50 for the next four months which means i will just need to pay cash for everything until then.... which is not too bad so i will not be able to buy anything unless i have the cash for it which is the way it should be. Then once it's cleared i will use it in the same way i used to use the sky card pay everything with the Tesco card and then put the money in my savings account until the statement comes in so that i can earn clubcard points.

I have a piggy bank of loose change collected over the last four weeks so am going to empty it just now and see how much i can get out of that. Im looking forward to updating my signature and seeing how much i have actually managed to pay off.

I am hoping that i have paid off the amount that i increased my debt by last month so that from next month i can really start making some progress into actually clearing some of the debt. Im setting myself a target of getting below £30,000 for the 1st September. That is 44 days away so i need to have paid off £860 by then which works out approx £19.55 per day. I am hoping to have paid off at least £460 this month and that would only leave £400 to pay off next month.

Fingers crossed i can do it.... my loan payment will be a big chunk of that £251.04 so am hoping that my minimum payments to the cc after the interest will cover the rest of it.

    Wish me luck

Hiya - nice to read your update and it sounds very positive and organised with the credit cards. Good luck with the below-30k-by-September target. That will be a good feeling.

Hey Seaxwyn :hello: thanks for dropping in. Cant wait to get to the below £30,000 mark at least that way i will feel like im getting somewhere!

Well tonight went exactly as planned.... started having a major panic about what i was going to wear.... couldn't get anything to fit and then decided i wasn't going... in between shouting, swearing and sobbing!!! how stupid do i feel. In the end i went... it was ok dinner was nice and all paid for by bf's parents.... felt like we ate and ran cause am back home now lying in the couch in my jammies!!!

Am in the mood for clearing out.... so am going to see if i can get one of my cupboards cleared out tonight and sort it into stuff for using, ebay and stuff for the bin and charity.... and im going to make a list on the pc of all the stuff i have so that i don't end up buying more of the same.... that's the idea but who knows if i'll actually do it... will update if i get it done

Well i managed to get 2 cupboards cleared out tonight :j I managed to get rid of three bags of stuff that i don't need and wont use like shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. I also managed to fling out stuff that had been used and that was never going to be used again....

I have another two boxes of stuff to list on ebay which is what i intend to do 2moro.... either that or clear out some more stuff  decisions decisions.

I feel alot better knowing that i have cleared out some space and the other thing being that i do not need to buy any more shampoo, conditioner, bath foam, shower gel, deoderant, toothpaste, toothbrush, sanitary towels or false nails for about a year :o I can't believe how much stuff i have that i just dont need! It should save me a few pounds on toilettries and stuff over the next year.

I have also found a few things that i have been given as presents that i just wont use and certainly don't need so im going to recycle them and give them as presents.... just need to make sure i dont give them to the people that gave them to me ;)

Going to get some sleep now

Hi Buddiebabe - I'm sorry that you're feeling so down. You seem to be getting organised with clearing things and you seem to have made a start on your credit cards - to be under £30,000 by September is a brilliant goal to aim for and i wish you luck.

    Take care
