then when you peg out you washing it looks all nice and uniform. BTW if you DO peg out socks in pairs it makes it easy to pair as you unpeg ‘em – see – there is a method in our madness!
Oh dear I see I've been missing out - does that not sound just the tiniest bit obsessive to you? Just me then? oh well, I'll join in :rotfl:
Serena - glad your timetable suits you better now!
Laura - your neighbour sounds like an angel!
Well my HHC turned into Hour and a HHC, but i got my whole bedroom cleaned as well as things on the list, which I'll post later on. Even found 50p as I tidied! Hope everyone is well!Chifundo Uzuri Siochain"All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost" - JRR Tolkien~~ Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, but love leaves a memory no one can steal ~

Pigpen :grouphug: hope everything goes okay with your sister we're all thinking of you and sending giant hugs
Mum of four, you and your daughter are a true example of positivity in the face of adversity I really admire you both. I can't imagine how scary it must have been but keep smiling and the little s**** can't win
Johanne have a wee boogie and sing along to some cheesy music  it always makes me smile, even if just out of embaressement at how apallingly bad I am :rotfl: :rotfl: If that doesn't work hugh hugs coming your way :grouphug:
And to all you nutters who enjoy ironing, and pegs
Due to being a dim-whit I did todays to do list yesterday so instead I'm going to concentrate on my rather exciting pink control journal :j :j :j Ohh how exciting I just saw more smilies and they're pink

Froddington – that’s a definite! Pegging in pairs. Hope you got on with your planning OK. Have been into school this afternoon – our classroom now looks like a classroom. Time for refreshment methinks!
And Carol22 – of course – mine are yellow – then when you peg out you washing it looks all nice and uniform. BTW if you DO peg out socks in pairs it makes it easy to pair as you unpeg ‘em – see – there is a method in our madness!
:hello: to all newbies
Valli - did lots of printing and laminating but not much paperwork  But I have been told it can wait! Good that you got your classroom sorted - what age do you teach?
The big question now is.........should I worry that I also wash my socks in pairs?
Johanne - hope you're feeling better - what a yuck day for you. Hugs.
Serena - great news on the timetable
HollyH - have to agree with the others - don't do it!"There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers

Evening all
Pigpen - I'm sending 'hang on in there' vibes to your sister and her babe. I hope things turn out fine.
Mumoffour – how awful! But how brave and quick thinking of your DD. You’re in shock and will be for a few days. It doesn’t matter if the housework doesn’t get done. Give yourselves time to recover. And take as much help from the CID counsellor as you can.
Nicki – with the placement thing – is there a breakfast club your DD could go to to cope with the early morning lessons?
HollyH – trust your instincts and don’t touch with a bargepole let alone a penny…
Johanne – hugs – I recommend you sit on the sofa for the rest of the day and do nothing!
Well, I had a good day at work for the first time in what seems like ages - I actually had stable systems and could get on with stuff - Hurrah! And my meeting this evening managed to get wrapped up earlier than expected which is another Hurrah! But, I have a report to write by next Wednesday
I have already S&S'd the kitchen and have bones boiling up for chicken soup for tonight's dinner. I will wimp out on the living roomthis evening but will do the hallway and, as I have no stairs - the utility area by the backdoor - that's getting a tad grubby!
Right - off to fly...I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Yes, you should!
There are some worrying laundry obsessions going on here  I think some therapy may be in order for quite a few people... Although it you don't have matching washing line and pegs you obviously aren't as far gone as Valli & Tag, so there's hope for you yet0 -
Hi
Thanks for all the advice. I was 99.9% sure i wasn't going to do it but just needed to make sure. My instincts ( and all of you;) )are telling me not to go anywhere near it, and i won't. I'll see her tomorrow when she's probably going to try and get me to change my mind but it's not going to work. Shes put 1K into it which i very much doubt she's going to see again. :eek:0 -
