So to summarise we're all a bit bonkers BUT a very kind and friendly bonkers lot we are too!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I'll second that - we are all (nearly all) mad as hatters but everyone is very friendly and helpful!! I can vouch for that recently!!

Mumoffour big big hugs hun((())). Its very hard to deal with being burgled but as you see its the feelin gof being so violated thats the worst bit i think. Your plans that you have come up with are a very good idea to have. Many years ago i was robbed and when i bought this house it was all open plan within 6 weeks of moving in, i had staircase blocked up and a door fitted with a lock, if i do get broken into they can't get to us iyswim.... I also have a fire escape ladder and fire extinguishers 2 in my bedroom and 1 in bathroom unit. I also take my mobile phone to bed just incase of any emergency. Can you tell i live my life in fear:o.
Pigpen big hugs for your sister too((())) xx ps kno what you mean about pink shopping its so cute;) . good job i have 1 girl and 3 boys i would be seriously skint if they were all girls:rolleyes: .
Love the peg conversation, i know how you all feel. I am almost devastated when down to last few pegs and i can't match them up.
Well i have i been flying honest, just very very busy. We took the kids to Bridlington 2 weeks ago and stayed overnight. That was great as it was completely unplanned so a good adventure for the kids. Then saturday gone we went to Scarborough which i actually prefer and also had another fab time. Although i must add roll on tomorrow :T as mine don't go back to school until then and we are all ready for it. So as its the last free day i took them to a playarea which is perfect as they have areas for all of my kids so no one is excluded. On sunday evening i cleared out the kids old school uniforms to make way fr the new and had a good old clear out still got a bit more to do up there but can only really get round to that at weekend so i have decided to give myself one free day (saturday, family day) and then spend a couple of hours on the sunday each week until its all done.....
My friend is moving hoiuse on monday and she is seperating from her husband anyways its a start again situation so i have been and bought her some tea towels, cleaning clothes, mugs ,a cup and saucer( she has always wanted one) 2 mixing bowls, jug, scissors, oven gloves cutlery and utensils can you think of anything else that would be useful i have gone a bit blonde today!!! She has no idea i am doing this and will probably beat me for doing it but she is my one of my best friends and deserves it x
well bye for now will catch up later xx :wave:You can touch the dust but please don't write in it !
Would you like to speak to the man in charge, or the woman who knows whats happening?0 -
Chunky that is really sweet of you to buy all of those things for your friend. How about a potato peeler, tin opener, kitchen scissors, rubber gloves etc.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

I managed to dust the living half of the livingroom (as in not desk or dining end
) before going for DD, but the coffee table is going to need a damp cloth as its sticky off something
Just tried DD's replacement skirt on her and its massively too big so back to Asda and she'll just have to have a grey one instead but apparently thats what most of the girls are wearing anywayJust checked the website (which I did!) and apparently grey is okay...I could have sworn it was Navy

Just caught up with 9 pages of the thread so I may well forget someone, Sorry!
Mumoffour - Your daughter is so brave! I'm much older than she is and I would have been absolutely terrified. Lots of hugs for you and yours.
Pigpen - Happy PINK shopping, and your sister is in my prayers.
DeniseFlower - I have never heard of anyone who irons bras!! I feel bad now, I don't iron any underwear, socks, and rarely pyjamas.
Valli and Tag - I've never even thought of pegiquette before, have I had a deprived childhood? Have to buy new pegs for the flat soon, so should I only buy one colour of pegs?
Chunky - Lovely idea! What about a cheese grater, nice wine glasses if she drinks wine, spice rack if she cooks, and if you have a photo of the two of you at a happy time a nice photo frame to put a copy in?
Packed a load of books and DVDs up in a packing box, although I really need to tidy my bedroom now.
