    Tutorial finished :D

Local school phoned about a placement there for me, but my number has been passed on for them to phone me back. If I don't hear from them by tomorrow lunch I'll ring again, 1st day back for the kids or not :p I need to do at least 16 hours a week so phoned my brother to get his timetable times as its his school (well he'll be in 6th form so highly unlikely I'll end up "teaching" him) :rotfl::rotfl: Now I just need to work out if its possible for me to do16 hours a week without having to put DD into childcare when the first lesson starts at 8.50 (DD goes in at 8.55 and then I need to get the bus to the school) and last lesson finishes at 3pm (DD gets out at 3.15pm and I'd have to get the bus home again) Oh well, I could do with working it out asap so guess what I'm going to be doing for a while :o

I have just found a couple of tshirts with fat stains on them after washing them yesterday ,,any ideas folks as to how I can get them clean,, as I always seem to drip or splash on the tshirts must be the big boobs

Know what you mean about big boobs and spillages!!! :D
My top 'fat stain free' tips are.....

    1) always wear a pinny when cooking!
    2) try Dr Beckman Stain Slayer. Best stain remover ever!!
    3) or neat stardrops rubbed into the stain. before washing again.

Give it a go.... HTH ;)

Sarah, Katt and froddington, thank you!!

Im going to take the kids out for a treat at the weekend, just to show them that we can have fun.....and laugh at the burgular, as he cant get us down and he will not ruin our family unit and strength!! We have made emergency plans, for this happening again, also fire escape route and that seems to have helped the kids as they are involved in our safety and they have realised that the things that were taken were meaningless, and can easily be replaced, life cant be replaced!!

Good for you :T Sounds like you are making the best of an awful situation. You are being really strong and your children will benefit from your great example. Keep positive x

  • Oh and my pegs don't all match but I do peg clothes in a certain way and have to have a pair of matching pegs for each item. And socks have to be pegged out in pairs (with the same colour pegs of course)!! Should I be worried
That's me too. I didn't even realise I did it until you were all talking about matching pegs.

How are you feeling today frodders after your journeys yesterday?

Arm is no worse than usual thank you - though am a bit worried about how it'll be after a whole day at work. Will have to try and rest it at times! Am trying to remember a time when it didn't hurt / ache - the op was 4 months ago today

Valli and Tag my pegs come in bags of 3 different colours so I'm not going to have them all the same! **thinks** Hmm, but 3 different colours and a 3 sided washing line ...... :rotfl:
