Right, Im sorry Ive not been on all day-we went to Ikea to get DF's desk and I never want to do it again (at least not until we get a car) one bus a train and two trams later he was moaning bitterly that this was a dumb idea for a desk that cost £14 (did I tell you it was THE ONE he wanted?) Nevermind that when we moved in I had to do it myself to go get three blinds, six sets of curtains, two rugs and a bunch of stuff for the kitchen-with DS in the buggy (OOOOHHHH, says he I thought you had *friend* with you) So the cabinet will be turned into a toy cupboard for DS tommorow and the desk will be moved in where the cabinet is.Hopefully we'll find the mouse too:eek: or maybe he will whilst I stand on the round table with my feet very far off the floor:o
Denise you cannot go back to bed!!!No No No. So seems we’re behind on the same things.
Valli I like you because of your fetishes-not despite them and the control journal is FANTASTIC-since Ive had mine things have been so much easier. I know when DF is away on business over the next three months and he’s already notified my brother re same. Also we have an emergency plan and next time he has to call an ambulance for me he will be able to tell the EMT what my birthdate is-and what meds Im on . It was all very scary the last time when I couldn’t breathe long enough to get a word out and he was rushing around the house trying to find something that said how old I was!
Sexymouse I do the same. If my green light is not on its a given that I got up and left the house straight away. If Im home the pc is on. DF often emails me errands during the day. Or needs paperwork or whatever. And maybe we should put your cat and my DS together and see if they can help each other get over their fears.
Bumble-Bee Hugs for DD. How old is she?
G&B Whats Boffer? What am I missing....again?
Alibobsy, the thread is not only my motivation but my motivation to procrastinate also.
Mumoffour Thats so horrible Big hugs to the kids how clever is your little girl
Hex Im going to have to try that one. The one I had was from an American book owned by an American friend. Negella’s is sooo different.
Chunky What a lovely idea, don’t forget to scout boots for some bargain pamper treats and bath candles so she can relax in a nice hot bath when shes ready-maybe a soppy good book from charity shop so she can get the tears out too when shes ready to that. A good bit of pamper me does wonders for the soul.
Jjef Thanks for the facebook message (and Julie and dustykitten...did I miss anyone?)
Laura Can we swap neighbours please, and what did you put your control journal into? Mine is a limegreen lever arch file but its already not closing properly so I need to replace it. Will have to wait until DF goes back to work though as he’ll freak if I buy more stationery. I too am a bit of a hog-I do an order from vista print once every few months of all their free deals and get personalised letter heads etc. I must be honest too-the business cards have come in handy with going to all the new playgroups etc-it gets so boring having to regurgitate your number to yet another mum who is DYING to get our kids together but may or may not call.
Pigpen you really are the mother hen aren’t you. Here you are, looking after all of our panic attacks and tantrums and look at you. Of course our prayers are with you and you will obviously be looked after 10 fold because such are the blessings you send to others-and wasn’t it you that said we all need a good blub every now and then?0 -

and then loose the after placement time to travelling back to make sure I was home in time to collect her
OR .... You could ask your sis who lives 10 minutes up the road and will not be going back to work to pick her up for you so you'd only have to put her in breakfast club.................0 -
I suppose i'd better move my bum and make the packed lunches. Oh and i need to pack my toddler bag (if i can find everything 6 wks is a long time:o ). I'm still wading through the insurance stuff but we've got enough toys to be getting on with. I should really have a shower too seeings as i didn't have time for one this morning and if i don't have time tomorrow i'm not going to be pleasant to be around.
I also forgot to say earlier Ds1 forgot to set his alarm this morning and i slept through the 2 i set:o . Luckily Ds1 woke up at 7.15 but it could have been much worse.0 -

My wonderful neigbour talked about downsizing last year when her OH sadly passed away we were distraught I was crying and everything. I don't actually know what we'd do without her she's is truely amazing. Plus she knows all the good gossip and keeps us up to date on the other neighbours coming and goings :rotfl: :rotfl: Only concern there is that we are only seperated by a wall god knows what she tells them all about us
My control is a big leverarch it is starting to look nearly full already, not good as I only started it on Sunday!!
Mum of four great news that they got the b******* that must be a hugh relief. You've got to wonder how anyone can do something like that its horrendous.
I've just read a lovely website about 29 days of giving be it a kind thought, an item, a gesture etc.... Think I may slip that into my daily routine and the information has gone straight into my journal :j :j0 -
