Pigpen - gorgeous cake, daughter & kitten. Congratulations on the cake - that's seriously impressive if it really is your first attempt. I'm not sure what to suggest for the fleas - I have a feeling you can't give children frontline or program. How about sheep dip in the bath?
Polkadot - sorry to hear your GP was unhelpful yet again (and made you get behind on your list  ). As my surgery is only about 5 minutes away, I always call them before I leave to ask how far they are running behind, which means I usually only have a 10 minute wait when I get there - of course, sometimes they're running ahead, and which point I have occasionally had to point out that I'm still at work, so they'll have to send someone in before I get there!
Froddy - glad to hear it went well today, and it sounds like your head will be supportive. I'm sure that you'll get into the routine soon which may well help (and you'll be so busy you won't have time to think!). Is there anyone you could car share with to reduce the strain on your arm? I've done this before where if one person couldn't drive or their car was being repaired etc, then rather than alternating days, we've kept a note of the number of journeys one person has done and made sure that it works out over a period of months. It does mean that you have to start and finish at the same time, but this can be useful as it stops both of you from spending more time than you should at work.
Toots - well done on the paperwork. We're looking forward to seeing you finally wipe your dining table at the beginning of October :rotfl: Hopefully all the progress is making you feel better, so I'm sure it will get easier as more things fall into place. Don't forget to keep reviewing your urgent/important lists and moving tasks around as things change. That way you shouldn't get any nasty surprises.
Well done everyone on progress... I'm now off to do a bit of catching up, as you're all putting me to shame0 -
Toots - whatever your time says right now . . . <<<---- mine says 8.28am
Depending on Daylight Saving we're normally somewhere around 10-12 hours ahead

Not too bad!! Let's see if I can keep it going tomorrow!!!
Pigpen - love the kitten! (especially cos it doesn't make me sneeze like other cats!!) and that's an amazing cake!
Polkadot - the recipe looks fantastic! Will try those out at some point this week! Made choccie muffins last night for my friend's birthday and wrapped up nicely in cellophane tied with a ribbon. She seemed very happy! (Kids managed to scoff the remaining ones!)
Other plan at some point this week is to make the lists off the holiday grand plan website.
See you later! Off in search of crips! (I reckon the Wii exercise means I've earned them!!)
Night!

Mineallmine - I think I know what you mean, but because of the low false ceiling and walls very close either side there's nowhere to fix a rail, but if we take the ceiling out, it could be fixed above the door.
Polkadot - the Snickerdoodle recipe looks yummy, I might just have to try it.
I'm feeling pretty pleased with myself because I've finished all my ironing to date. I'm now trying to get my head round "The Children" because I like Kevin Whately, but it seems quite disjointed to me.
BTW - I might have missed this while I've been AWOL, but has anyone seen "Mamma Mia"? I've never heard an audience laugh so much. I can't wait for it to come out on DVD.
I'm off for a cocoa and a bath. Night all. xDMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419

Pigpen - my older mogs really didn't like our kitten, and they are still not keen on her. I love the run round for 20 minutes being manic, sleep for hours somewhere she cant be found thing.
Kaat-lady - similar problem here. DH doesn't eat sweet stuff, and I have no self control whatsoever. We had a bit of a weight loss thing on here back in May, and I lost over a stone, mostly by having a chest infection (surely cheating?). Now both boys are at school and in the short term at least I have two mornings a week free I want to get back into swimming and running. Need to stop being slummy mummy!
Has anyone heard from Tia Mai? I am guessing she is busy with school and the new business.
I have packed DH a bag for tomorrow night, done HHI and filled the DW/TD. Work in the morning, yawn.
On the gardening pictures front - My parents have been nominated for a gardening competition - see pictures here: http://www.shootgardening.co.uk/sitePage.php?pageid=148&name=enter-today---awards-worth-2200
