***hangs head in shame***
My great skill in life is procrastination - and have found (:rotfl:) sometimes that, if you put it off long enough it will never need doing!
I didn't start my family until I was 32! On my 32nd birthday I said to my mum that I wanted to be a mum before I was 33.
DS was born THE DAY BEFORE MY 33rd BIRTHDAY (and he was 2 weeks late)Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Thank you all for your lovely comments :T Too many of you to mention!
I am feeling better about going back to work and hopefully it'll help to take my mind off other things as I'll be busier and have less time to think!
There is one other teacher who lives near me but she tends to arrive at school at the last minute so I could only car share with her if she's going to get there a bit earlier!!
Well done Valli on the planning - I may well join you for a HHP or 2 tomorrow! It does seem as though there are a lot of us teachers who leave things til the last possible minute although I do know one or two who do their planning before the holidays  I'm going to do enough to get us through Thurs and Fri and then tackle things at the weekend. Can't do much more than that as I don't know my new class very well and 2 of them are new to the school and I've not even met them yet!
Off to bed now as need to start getting up earlier

Valli - congrats on finally getting round to doing your prep:T You clearly need to be up against the deadline to get motivated. Is this an important part of being a teacher, as Serena and Froddington seem to have it too;) ? I'm not sure about sexymouse... she hasn't mentioned paperwork much recently! :rotfl: )
She's doing supply - so, with any luck she'll be using the planning already done by the class teacher:rolleyes:Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Thank you Valli for mentioning me, I sometimes feel that 'cos my lists are so small and seemingly insignificent I am wasting others time by posting on here, but I do really find it helps me. As for my mother - well there are other people involved and I do not want to write a letter that she can show around to others and use to bolster her own side of things. I know that might sound odd but it's complicated. I DID ring her and I left a message on her ansafone and apologised for something I haven't even done...:rotfl: but I want to make peace so willing to take the blame verbally. I miss her in my life.
See you all tomorrow!

quite understand (re the letter) and nice to know I'm not the only one with a feud to settle - I just wish someone would tell me what I had done because it's not what I though I had, apparently!
And when I'm back at work my lists will be tiny!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Hi
I haven't done any flying today except for wiping the worktops.
i have though gone and got Ds1 new school trousers as the ones i ordered before he went to his Dad's ( and didn't turn up until after he'd gone) were too big. I've picked up the rest of his uniform from the uniform shop. I have been food shopping. Made packed lunches for tomorrow, and labelled everything. Also i have made dalek cookies and hobnobs with Ds2.
Hopefullly with Ds1 back in school tomorrow i can get into the swing of things a bit better.0 -
Right I'm going to post my list for tomorrow(for the first time) and hopefully I'll get everything done!

Another day bites the dust.
I've just done an hours ironing so the kids have some clothes to wear again, and then washed my hair. I am moulting so badly at the moment i have then had to pick all the hair up off the bath and sink, and i am sure i could knit a poodle from it. I know hair loss speeds up after having babies, but this seems more than last time. DH assures me i don't look bald.
Kids clothes are laid out for the morning for dropping DS1 at nursery. Chicken curry out of the freezer so we can eat tomorrow night, and bathroom bin emptied. Also checked internet banking and paid a credit card bill.
I think i am quite well organised at the moment.
I think i need to make my focus this week the boys stuff as DS2 is almost in the 6-9 month clothes and i still haven't boxed up the 0-3 stuff properly, and DS1 has clothes in 2 different rooms and i need to condense it to 1 wardrobe and get it sorted. I have found a carrier bag of old stained stuff that i won't put on them again, so that is ready for the recycling collection on Friday.
My thoughts are really jumbled at the moment. Can't get my head around everything properly, so i will just keep plodding on in my own special way.
