    Hi KP

I think you're ***absolutely*** right about the lifestyle changes - exercise, a bit of fresh air, eating better, drinking enough water - terribly boring, but true. Remember that for exercise to give you the feelgood factor, it needs to be fairly fast walking - it can take a while to work up to that :o I speak from experience :o:o:o one step at a time....

Tho I'm vegetarian, I don't particularly like veg - I don't dislike, just that if I had a choice, I'd eat carbs - so now what I do, is while I'm cooking, I'll eat a celery stick, or drink a glass of orange juice. Stops me getting too hungry so I stuff anything down, and is actually good for me.

    Best of luck ....
2023: the year I get to buy a car
  • So aims are as above:
House work with OH - sort out car boot stuff for next weekend nope see below
Exercise - walking and/or sit ups if I can get OH to put thing back together nope see below
    NSD does 50p count?!
    Work when needed done
See if collegues who are in town want to do lunch saw them in office which was nice better than being alone
DONT sleep in the day it doesnt help done so should sleep well tonight
Try not to dwell on things done

Well a good day although not to plan. Collegue let the team down again so all plans changed. I went into the office so I didnt fall behind. Tomorrow have physio so will try to do exercise with OH before going into work. 50p on vending machine so good for me. Off to see a friend in a bit to help with studying

Physio went went good movement so now need to work on balance I have to stand on left leg for at least 30 seconds. Not sure I could do that pre break!!

Spent more in tesco on ice cream (Got my way!!), ice cream sauce and cereal so think £5.

Spent a stupid £8.40 for lunch this morning at an M&S I can claim up to £5 back but what happened?? Other than that £2 on cereal that I couldnt find yesterday.

Poor DD1 got a rash/spots over her face and looks terrible. Really off as her friend got it as well. At first I though it was due to sunburn where she hadnt protected herself but keep getting worse so went to Docs. He knew what it wasnt   but said it was some sort of allergy and given piraton. Dont know what they reacted to could be suncream or something in the woods. Shes had a rough time at school not cruel as such more curiousity from the other kids.

Went to her new school this evening. DD1 all excited but Im more  at the cost of the uniform, pe kit and to top it all a obligatory £40 school trip. They offer payment plans but thats not the point

  • Ref my mood I am seriously thinking of trying to get my old job back. Itll mean losing the car and a possible pay cut but I think itll be worth it. Im too stressed in this role and to do it properly home and family suffer. Im fed up of living in a dump and feeling tired/unhappy about work.

It certainly sounds like an option KP. I know we're all here for the moneysaving but at the end of the day things have to balance out - ie you need to have quality of life too, it's not worth being properly miserable and finding out if you *can* go back to your old job means it is a viable option to leave where you are now.

How are you feeling today? Any better? I have dark days too so I sympathise, I know how bleak things can look. But remember, sometimes striving for perfection is too much, start with being realistic, what you know you can achieve, and anything more is a bonus :grouphug:

Sorry to hear that you're so down.I agree with Jo R if you'll feel a lot better doing your old job then that's what you should do as your well being and family are more important than money.

    hi kp
balance is important and most of us don't /cant do it its one or the other work or family
    and consequently one suffers!!
dont make any rash decisions,,,take your time and think it over
maybe the family could help out more at home
would a family meeting help??? point out the advantages of the better job,,debts gone quicker,,better living standards,,,better treats

but tell them you cant do it on your own,,,its to tiring..
and tell them the alternative ...
    hope this helps
