Work really busy this week so head was spinning this morning. Didnt help that DDs had nits again so did them last night with me to do tonight. Thankfully work should die down for a few days.

Foot/ankle ok just need to be careful. Cant wear my boots without a bit of discomfort so must avoid them :(. Fed up of sandels!

    Spends ok:
    NSD today and Tues
10 groceries and 50p choc Wed
Monday £5 lunch groceries £17 inc fathers day cards

Earnings good with another £15 sale on ebay on top of the £45 at the weekend.

Off to butlins minehead on the 3rd for a week. Got half board at a bargain £620 so not much food to buy. Hoping this keeps spends down. Annoying thing is I budgetted for the holiday and spending money but then as usual things went pear shaped and now little spending money left. I will do new SOA when I get back and go from there. Try not to spend too much before then and keep up the ebay sales. Thing is part of the prob is I lent a friend money and she is really struggling so not likely to see that back as soon as I would like/had planned. A bit annoying but Im way better off than her so I can live without it. She is struggling just to buy food at the moment so trying to give all money saving tips I can.

Inspired by your ebaying and listed some old maternity clothes t'other evening and have a bid on a dress already :)

Holiday sounds good - do you put away a bit a month to budget for it? I'd like a holiday (looking at something for next year, prob Ireland) but in true MSE style I want to budget and save rather than be paying it off later.

My CC debt jumped up as the interest got added the other day:eek: Bit disheartening isn't it? I'm hoping to close a couple of unused CCs I have and then search for a 0% one.

I was putting 250 a month away to cover holiday, car and other annual costs but that has all gone :(. It did cover the holiday cnad car costs just no spending money left. Plan is to use the 250 from next pay day for teh holiday and from then on the £250 will be saved for birthday and xmas costs so should (she says) be ok.

Tax credits awrd for the new year in down from 45 to 28 a week. new it would happen but still a pain.

    Hi KP,

Grrr @ nits, hope you have got rid on your DD!! My elder DD is nearly 10 and still gets them, because she has very long very thick hair and it is a SWINE to comb out!!!

Holiday sounds great, not much longer to go now, hope you have a fabulous time and make sure you relax and enjoy yourself!!
