Thanks
Lovely start to the day, Lovely cards, pressies and breakfast in bed. Just done the rounds to my and OHs mothers which was nice although had a small argument with Mum so will apologise later. OH says I was right to be annoyed but I feel bad. She can be so frustrating at times.
OH was good and came with me even to my Mums so brownie points there. Ive had £90 off him so far so will be interesting to see how much is offered next, Bets on nothing, £30 or the actual amount due £50.
Nothing to do for the rest of the day so on here and watching TV. Should do the garden but with a busyish week ahead I will rest instead.:j0 -
Hello
Apologised to Mum for being cranky earlier and invited her up for dinner. Went through entitled to website which seemed to help. Once she updates her savings she should be £8-9 a week better off and there is the annual increase due in April roughly £9 a week. Showed her the budget calculator and said she could use if she wanted too. Daft thing left her glasses at home so didnt push tonight.
Just to try and briefly explain why Mum winds me up sooo much:- After agreeing to come to mine she decided that my niece must be able to get into the house for her clothes so we stop off to drop the key off. Wouldnt mind but niece left a week ago and Mum has left the house in the week. Im mean it was only 3 hours.
- Nieces ex "borrowed" nephews playstation 2 that lives at Mums house because he stays over every two weeks. Because niece hasnt got playstation back Mum spent £20 on lego for him last week and then left it on the bus. This week after getting nephew again for some reason she buys a second hand playstation from game.
- I guess I shoulnt be annoyed at this bit but I am. Said nephew is my poorly sis's boy so I know she feels bad that he's practically lost her. Thing is he gets spoilt rotten ....he is one of 12 grandchildren.
- Ex who broke into her home last Oct whilst she was in hospital is still around. He got drunk at the weekend spent all his money some on her and then when BIL came round disappeared back to his home (he wimps out when someone bigger than him shows up Mum said he;d been horrible most the day. He is horrible when drunk and nephew should not be around to see it.
- Ex denies any damage to the doors ref break in and Mum has still not claimed on insurance. Even if she does she will be hit by the excess charge which she cant afford
- Gas part 1 - obsessed with bills which are high I admit but wont go onto DD and leaves windows open for the cat. One so he can get in and out the other becasue he has started p ing upstairs so she wants to air the room
- Gas part 2 - She swears there is a gas leak ref the high biils but wont ring to report because she fears they will just cut her off and she cant afford the fix. (PS they did this too he a few years ago when servicing her fire).
Spends today: £2 veg £85 ish tesco delivery for tomorrow hopefully less.:j0 -

a wee rant does the soul good KP. My mum drives me mad at times too but for other reasons. According to her Inever do anything right. I bought tickets for a concert for her for her birthday this week. I had called her and asked her if she wanted to go and she said yes so tickets are hardly a surprise. They came in post the other day and I called her and told her they were here. Her words were ' aww you shouldn't have told me. You should have put them in my card and surprised me !!' ............ I despair lol5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.000 -

I do love her and the thought of losing her a few months ago was horrible but whenever I want to help or even just be around her I get stressed out.
Planning to be good today and take kids to school and head straight for work. Get it over with ASAP.NSD lanned if I take storecupboard choc to work to avoidthat nasty vending machine and then come home for lunch.
Hope you all have a good DFW day.:j0 -
Well I did aviod the vending machine but forgot I said Id go to the cash n carry with a friend. Got some great stuff but did overspend £80 in the end  that along with Tescos which was £85 means over half the monthly budget spent. I do have a kitchen overflowing into the hall way of food though so should even out over the next month or two.
Bonus letter in the post so hoping it gets here tomorrow.:j0 -
Feeling a bit low tonight think the dreaded hormones are kicking in :j0
