:bdaycake:A celebration! I know its early for cake, but still....

Well done you - and a facial, ooh, I'd love a facial. I might have to make do for now, but thats on my list.... :D

Good for you for making a decision on BS - if its not for you, its better to find something that is.

Have a good one! I'm off for brekkie.

  • Thanks KC never too early for me and cake!

Yesterday saw me rest for most of the day and then start tidying/clearing the tip called our bedroom. BS sorted and put away and we can now actually see the floor which considering I always moan to the kids about their rooms was a bit hypocritcal.

List of bits Id like done before w**k on Wednesday, in no particular order except the kids rooms.
    • Blitz kids trooms with OH whether they help or not.
    • Tidy more of our room including sorting through my make up/jewellery etc
    • Tidy and wipe down bathroom
    • Mop kitchen floor
    • Put breadmaker in cupboard (after making space) to clear more worktop space
    • Washup and actually put stuff away so I can clean the draining board
    Will report progress later.

Thats good - I'm alternately tidying the house, doing a bit of painting, and about to go off to the garden. I had a kip at about 9am this morning (got up at 6, boo hiss).

  • LOL KC that sounds like me three jobs on the go.

I should also say that all the kitchen work surfaces were wiped and the tiles. Draining board and taps wiped. It looks so much better. Bedroom still has lots to do. Already had a sarky comment from DD1 about " Whats that in your bedroom?" " Its the carpet!!" . Havent started the bathroom yet. It will only take half an hour once I start.

OH has started with DSs toys because the girls room is a tip even after loads of stuff was bagged    . They wont now whats hit them tommorow when they get home from school. If we are tidying them we chose what stays and what goes :D

That sounds like my daughters room, the trouble is if you move anything she knows its gone, we've done the wardrobe tidy out, moved some of her spare dolls etc..........but its trying to sneak one thing out at a time, she has a memory like an elephant!! x
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
  • What lovely weather, OH and I dont want to tidy now!

No jobs done yet except the parcels have gone this morning, done a bit of shopping and sold another £10 of BS stuff to a mate. Trying not to be tempted to order a nice new cooker on the catalogue and so far I have talked myself out of it.

No cookers! Nooooo! Think of all the dfw effort you'd have to go to to fund that cooker!

I certainly don't want to tidy either - I've been ordered to eat chocolate (by my doctor - honestly!) so I've just done that and I'm going to make a cup of coffee and off to sit in the garden. Happy days - feels like summer is *so* close.
