thanks for the ideas of items that sell. I am waiting for my business kit and starter pack to arrive, hope I haven't missed Christmas!
When you say: "If you call direct you don't pay £6 or £30 you just pay postage at cost if it is a small order-20 cards to me the other day £1.67 postage."
Do you mean that if you phone a small order yopu don't have to pay the set postage rate? What do you have to say to the person you speak to?
Rosemary

Haven't been on for a while - thought I would say hi and welcome to all the newbies.
I'm glad everyone is sharing tips and ideas, that was my reason behind this thread, I already checked with phoenix before I started it and that said it was fine as long as I don't try to recruit, and I plainly say that in the first post, but thankyou JD for double checking that for everyone, to put their mind at rest.
Good luck everyone with your christmas sales - busy time of year!

Nice to see you Kat, how are you getting on?Thank you to all OPs

I'm a PT as of yesterday and am enjoying reading all these tips - especially as my sponsor is the other side of the country!!!
Have dropped off a couple of brochures already as my baskets/folder arn't ready yet - but was keen to "get out there"
Just wanted to say hi to you all!

Hi Lindsay, welcome to PT I have been a PT for 1 week and loving it, haven't actually sold anything as yet but have 2 partys, 2 toddler groups and a bowling event set up... cant wait... did door2door this morning but only managed 10 doors as i ran out of time to put the packs together... there is loads of tips on here and your sponsor will be able to help too...
I wish u well with your little adventure0 -
Hi Skeeter,
Yes, I've signed up. I thought long and hard about the starter pack; because the books I've read on Network Marketing advise you to only do what can be duplicated by your downline (when you get one), and if they haven't got much spare money, I'd be able to say to them that it's perfectly possible to start this with just the business kit, because I did it. However, chatting to my sponsor, and reading this thread changed my mind and I have ordered the biggest kit, mainly to have a decent-sized stock for fairs and parties etc.
It wasn't dispatched yesterday, but today, so I suppose I'll have to wait until Monday now.

Hi all, i got my info pack today and looked and read through it, the only the i was wondering is what if i can at this moment in time only scrap the £45 starter kit and nothing else. Is it gonna be worth while?
I was only thinking of starting off small anyways, and leave some samples and books at the place where i clean and some friends.
It just kinda feels like i would be lame if i didn't buy the other packs too, but to be honest i just havn't got the money, i thought i could just save the money i had made once i had paid for peoples orders untill i could buy the show packs??
any thoughts welcome :-)0 -

Hi Miss Smurfet,
You will get 50 brochures with your business kit, so you could use those to do a brochure drop, and hopefully get some orders that way. If you return to collect the brochures, you can of course use them to do another brochure drop etc.
If you do a coffee morning, you should not need any stock for that either.
Although you will need stock to sell at places where you attend as a stallholder.Thank you to all OPs

Phoenix ask us to allow five working days to receive our order, although it is usually quicker than this.
I usually place an order with Phoenix every three weeks.Thank you to all OPs
