Got it down to just under £515 in the end. Many thanks to the original poster. Hopefully I should receive it in about a fortnight or so. :O)

the motherboard has a network card on board.( so its broadband ready)
it also has the sound onboard.

the video card is PCI express card ( not the older agp style)

the dvdrw does all discs , dvd and cd but not ram.

the monitor has only a dsub socket on it, ( the regular type, not the newer DVI ( digital ) you need to change the monitor to ultra sharp model for that.

The PC which I ordered, as well as many others in the stores, has only one DVD-RW drive, so does it mean if I need to copy one CD to another or one DVD to another, I need to get one more internal or external drive ?

No, you don't have to to use a second drive.
You can save the contents of your CD or DVD to the hard drive and then burn onto a blank disk.

Ordered hubby this yesterday,but he has decided he wants the upgraded monitor.So i need to cancel and re-order.Obviously not got through on the phone today as they are closed,but have just received my order no etc and it says it was dispatched today(is that normal 1 day after ordering) and is with the courior for delivery on 22nd.
Where do i go from here?
Will i still be able to cancel even when it has been sent out?
Any help would be great.
