I have written quite a strong email to their customer services although it will probably end up in India again with the same people going around and around.
I reckon I have made at least five phone calls totalling nearly two hours plus two previous emails and cannot get any sense out of them. I did receive a call form an operator on Tuesday morning saying that she was rebooking my order and would email me details, to date no email nor return calls from her supervisor despite four promises. Whenever you call you have to go through the same script, then they tell you that no order exists although I have the pdf. and message on answer machine promising rebooking of order.
I honestly don't know where to go, if only you could speak to a manager in UK or Ireland.
Does anyone know a number to connect to anyone in UK??

Finally got the TFT today after much tooing and froing. Thanks to the OP.

Thanks for the 0870 link, tried on a few occasions today to get through to someone in UK or Ireland, to no avail, everytime it defaults to India, couldn't handle another conversation with them to get nowhere.
Although I did receive this email as a reply today,
"Thank you for contacting Dell Online Customer Care.
Dell records reflect that order number 334****** has been cancelled. I apologize if you were not notified of this order's cancellation. Please contact our sales department at 0870 90 74000 if you wish to discuss this issue further. I apologize that I am not able to assist you with this issue directly."
does not answer any of the questions I asked.

I have given up on this and do not think much of the way Dell deal with their customers.

Nor me. I'd given up a while ago after receiving a similar email. However, they then sent and email saying the order would be rebooked - after emailing twice to ask what was happening, I received another stock email saying that the order was cancelled...

I don't think anyone has actually read any of the emails I sent them - if they have read them, they have chosen to completely ignore them. I've had a number of emails from Dell, each contradicting the last - is it too much to expect a definite yes or no from them?

The crts are expected to be arriving tomorrow of which I am not to sign for, the 19 TFT is due to arrive the following day - model number is the 193.

Thats exactly what happened to me, so I don't know where I am now.
