I never recieved a PDF only the 'Dell Internet Receipt Acknowledgement' so I called them earlier. Spoke to some Indian lady called 'Jackie'
who checked on my IR number and said that there is a delay in the stock so my order may take a further 7 days.
Didn't say it was cancelled or anything just that they had no stock. Still not getting my hopes up but better than nothing. The fact that some have recieved them is great to put in our case to them.0 -
Have received two calls from customer services in India in past two days stating that my order is still being looked at I think that she stated today that she was enabling new order and had emailed me with details. Unfortunately these messages were left on answering machine and to date I haven't received any email.
Anyone else had similar calls?0 -
Like Howdie, I was told today that not only would I get get my order, but that anyone who has received a PDF/Order number will definitely be getting their orders fulfilled. Problem at the moment is that they are out of these monitors and won't have stock until early December. I was told to watch my email and that a new order number would be sent in due course.

I just received this email:Dear Customer
Thank you for placing an order with Dell. For internal reasons, we have not been able to complete the processing of your original order [#########] to your requirements. This happens from time-to-time when parts or systems are discontinued or incompatible.
If we can build your order with an equivalent specification, a new order will be placed for you within the next business day. You will receive updated order reference numbers once this is complete.
Otherwise a Dell agent will be contacting you to discuss the details.
I have had two emails like this now both with different order numbers, the previous one was sent on the 14/11/05.0 -

I've only had the one like this, but no subsequent contact from Dell...
Have you tried putting the second order number into the order status checker?0 -

I get this message:
"We have located your order but we cannot advise a status, please email Dell Customer Care following the instructions below and we will be in contact with you."0 -

Same message I get with my original order no. - pity they won't respond to my emails
I would have thought Dell would by now be issuing a definite yes or no, I could go and buy one from elsewhere...0 -

I am sick too, I just want YES you are getting it or NO sorry you are not.0 -
Be patient people, dell is obviously going to give them to us, so just relax.
They just cannot say no at this stage, the effects of this is outwigh any potential saving. And to be honest, the price was THAT cheap anyway, Dell probably still has a profit margin since they are the manufacturer too.0
