Yeah I got this on Tuesday:
Dear Customer,
Please accept my apologies for the difficulties encountered when attempting to resolve your issue. I assure you that your situation is not indicative of the quality service Dell is capable of providing. I am truly sorry that we were not able to provide an experience that was completely satisfactory to you.
We have forwarded your mail to the concerned department and will have your query looked into and resolved effectively. You will be contacted on Wednesday via email updating you on your original Email.

But got no further email on Wednesday. Emailed them again at 00:01 this morning, still no reply.

Please be advised that due to internal technical error incorrect item code was displayed for incorrect screen on our website which was discovered later and all the order which are placed for the Flat Screen monitor on that day got cancelled.[ These orders cannot be rebooked.]
We apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused.
Please contact our sales department at 0870 907 4000 and place a new order if you wish to purchase a Flat Screen monitor.
Sorry, that I am not able to assist you directly on this issue.

My 17" CRTs are apparently still "dispatched" although they haven't arrived. My account manager at Dell is currently trying to sort out what the heck is going on but he's, unsurprisingly, taking an awfully long time about it :rotfl:0 -

Yes. My TFT is being delivered tomorrow.
The CRT had been delivered on Tuesday and will be collected on Monday.
Like I mentioned, I feel this is just the very early buys (I was told just 64) being processed through to dispatch before the mass cancellations started.
There might even be an even better outcome than I thought though I'll confirm this on delivery.
I feel for those who may not get them but I've missed out so often I feel it is my turn!!0 -
I think I may have had something delivered today. A Lynx truck was parked outside my house but I couldnt find the driver anywhere and then by the time I got back in the house he was driving off out of the street!.
I know Dell use Lynx as their carrier (supposed to be Walsh western but it never is in my experience). I had some dell printers delivered last year and they 'claimed' they couldn't find the house so they were taken back and I had to go through some right rigmorhole to get them re-delivered. No card was put through or anything it was only when I phoned dell to see where they were that the explained the situation. Apparently he found No. 1 and No. 5 but No. 3 where i live didn't exist
I don't think it takes too much brain power to work out that its in-between the two!.
Im clutching at straws with this and I've heard nothing since the "we'll contact you or re-issue the order numbers", But today is the 18th November and on My Dell invoice for the CRTs it says delivery by the 20th November.
Seems all too much of a co-incidence to me.0 -

Or are you just seeing a quantity of 2 instead of 1? In that case one of the boxes is the power lead!

What does it say on your order status online? If it's showing as shipped on there then you'll definitely get it. Usually Walsh Western call to confirm delivery but it didn't happen in my case as they got the phone number wrong. But I was able to track the status online and determine when it would be delivered.0
