Think I also read that the vouchers are valid until 30th November. Mine are going to be targetted at a Xmas pressie for one of the step daughters....whatever I end up with.

Magoogy...OH and I have done the same myself. Even sent him out to get the paper at 6.30am this morning...only to find someone had posted the code a short while after he had bought the paper.

So why spend money on a newspaper when you can save! DOH!!!

All i'm asking is for everyone not to be greedy so OTHERS can benefit!

A genuine buying Daily Mirror reader!!!!!!

• Isnt it wonderful that most are reapplying for extra codes, reducing other peoples chances of benefitting.

Thanks. :naughty:

Is anyone else getting this error message ?

We might find that applying for extra codes may not work. You have to put in your postcode, which if they've any sense they will check against your account when you try to use the voucher.
If I was Play I would use the 7 days before issue to de-duplicate the applicant list to remove all "suspicious" applicants - i.e. those with asmith@btinternet.com and bsmith@btinternet.com etc. which came from the same postcode. Then just send them an email with a £1 off voucher rather than the £5 one.
As for whether or not it's right to apply for multiple codes this way, if Play/Mirror had wanted to stop this they should have asked people to post in their vouchers rather than just typing the codes into the website. If marketers want to stop people abusing their promotions then they should make their promotions abuse-proof.
I also wouldn't be surprised if the day before these vouchers are issued that all Play CDs are increased in price by £5 :D I'll be watching out for this.

Well, they haven't made the T&Cs of the offer what they are in order to be philanthropic, have they? I don't see the problem in myself and my partner putting in one application each - if we qualify we'll both be buying for ourselves, with separate cards, after all. In fact, I can't speak for him, but if I "only" get a £1 voucher I'll still be more than happy with that, and go ahead and make my order, because there are several things on the site that are already very good deals!
