Thanks, Hope to get Fungus The Bogeyman (DVD) for my 6 year old. £1.99 if I get my £5.00 voucher.

    Cheers.
  • As for Play.com checking. They cannot do too much checking with 75k - whatever they do must be automated. I know some people who really abused the hell out of the Daily Star offer (one guy had 50 vouchers for sale on ebay) so they cannot do much in the way of checking.

That said I don't believe regular MSE users would abuse it in this way so don't preach to those who got one per family member. This is perfectly fair.

I also wouldn't be surprised if the day before these vouchers are issued that all Play CDs are increased in price by £5 :D I'll be watching out for this.

Already happened on a least one item I have noticed Sega Superstars for PS2 ...was £4.99 last week I ordered it :D they've got to make money somehow I suppose...
This site has saved me a fortune :money: ...it's also cost me a fortune!

    Hey,
Thanks for this link, but I've just emailed it to a friend and she's tried the link, but the section where you enter the passwords has vanished; any ideas?? Thanks!

It loads cookies on your pc to try and stop you ordering more than one. You will need to delete the cookie so the site doesn't know you have already visited.

    Just a point to note.

When the Star (I think it was them) ran the same promotion, the value of the goods declared on the customs docket was the amount paid.... Thus.... Assuming the same applies, the voucher will be handy for anyone considering ordering single items in excess of £18 (the theoretical customs limit)... and below £25, for the voucher will bring the declared value below £18.

That's a few "ifs" I know, but it is what I'll be using mine for. :)

Think I also read that the vouchers are valid until 30th November. Mine are going to be targetted at a Xmas pressie for one of the step daughters....whatever I end up with.

    6. Only one voucher per applicant. Vouchers are valid until midnight on Wednesday 30th November 2005. Vouchers are for a single use only.

What happens then about orders above that then ????? I regularly order from Play.com orders in excess of 18.00 ....I have never realised there was any customs implecations..I have noticed that the value is on theoutside of the packaging but what difference does it make..am I supposed to pay some sort of duty ??????
I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes ;)
