Taxi, if you try and do too much, you will just end up with every bug and virus going.
Build up your strength gradually and let your body adjust.

Aww hun, ditto what all the others have said..and maybe have a look at that alarm clock Gemmzie mentioned on Elantan's thread..i think i will invest in one!
And a new bed in Jan sales, may work wonders for you.
I just had a thought, i know when i am worried about my kids that i feel horrible and low myself..i go into complete panic mode when DD2 is ill and frantically rush around trying to fix it and make it better..then i feel physically ill myself..i know that you have been really worried about your two on top of everything else you have been through..so maybe just be easy on yourself for a bit ...or we can all pool vouchers and have a trip upto Glasgow for EL to massage us all..(can't afford a spa..lol)Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
I agree .This is where I have to change my mindset towards things.I push myself too hard then end up in a pickle.Slow and steady will win the race.I know that's the way to do it then I feel guilty and lazy when I'm not doing loads of stuff.
Poor DH never moans about it and has told me to take it easyI just need to stop feeling guilty and be happy..seem to have lost that along the way.
Afterall..looking back on the year..we have paid £29.5k off,got the tax money, holiday is paid for, spending money sat here, also had another holiday in may..had the whole house double glazed and had two new fires and fireplaces fitted..so think we have done well.
I'm actually quite proud of myself now I've read that.0 -
Taxi, do you think it might be time to start a new diary with all those positives from above in your first post to remind you of what you have and can achieve. :smileyheaOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0

Sorry Bob you posted when I did. You're right it's probably the worry about the car crash,DS and DD all straight after one another.Think going away and not thinking about anything at all including moneysaving and completely switching off is what I need to do.
Don't get me wrong I'm not blowing the budget when away but IF we want to do something we will without feeling guilty as we have plenty of spending money.Whatever is left will be paid off a bill when we get back.
Been thinking about going for a massage at the gym but feel guilty about spending the money..lol0 -
Whatatwit you read my mind ....was thinking that but it may sound like I'm bragging putting that in a first post on a new diary..what do you think?0
