Morning Taxi, hope you feel a little more positive today :kisses3:

I do feel that your firm is one of the most respected in town and the fact that you can pay by card is a real plus.
I did my bit for you on Monday, puncture on my car, so had to send Miss Twit to school by taxi.

    So....reasons to be cheerful :D
    • Your vehicle is new, so hopefully it will not cost too much to maintain over the next 12 months (unlike some of the boneshakers on the road, that your competitors may not have the cash to get repaired)
    • Your insurance claim is heading towards being settled.
    • You are member of this fantastic site.
    • Your back problem is at least getting a firm diagnosis and some treatment.
    • Your OH is still willing to go out and work (many don't want to ;) )
    • Your holiday is paid for and as AI, it shouldn't cost too much.
    • WE ALL LOVE YOU :kisses: :smileyhea
Love and hugs The Twit :grouphug:

    Excellent post by whatawit there.

I hope you feel a bit brighter today taxi - but if you need a moan just come on here as we all sympathise. I do plenty of moaning myself and the support on here is fantastic.

What a great set of posts - just shows what a fantastic site this is that there are folk there with support and words of wisdom in the early hours! Hope today feels more positive as a result taxi. Times are undoubtedly worrying and more so for those whose income is dependent on others having disposable income themselves - but as has been said - you can only make your position as strong as possible (which you are doing) and respond to what actually happens. Worrying just takes energy away from getting on with the important stuff.
I know - very easy to say - and I haven't quite managed it as you know - but something we all need to keep sight of.

Hope you have a great day today. And feel free to use us as a sounding board - that's what we are here for (and of course you do the same for all of us hun!) :)

Thanks everyone...it's a fantastic place here isn't it?....Whatatwit what a lovely post..thankyou...all the others are also lovely...
I will just carry on and pretend this recession isn't happening and deal with things as and IF they crop up.If it takes me longer to become debtfree then so be it.
I have to remember that I can't control what is out of my hands.I will go back to work tomorrow and hopefully will be able to do it without too much pain.
DH is working tonight ...much to my shock as it's his day off.
We have to take the dog to the vet later for a check up.She seems a lot better so hopefully won't need anymore tablets.
The mortgage has reduced by another £30ish from next payment.
I know what you mean Mizmir about worrying as you are right..it takes so much energy.

Got to nip out shortly to take dog to vets but have just been cheered up.
A link didn't work yesterday to something Martin wanted comments so I pmed him and also wished him all the best and thanked him for the site and thought nothing more of it.
I have just received a lovely message back from him(didn't expect that). How lovely is that?...He'll never know how much that message meant to me or cheered me up.
Him being such a busy man as well.It really has cheered me up.

Wow - from the man himself. I get the feeling he is a very nice man - and certainly has made a huge difference to so many people he has never met. Lovely that he took the time to reply. :A

Hi all...went to Vets and came back with antiseptic wash for her....we are trying to work out what is causing the exsma/dermatitis...he's adviced washing her bedding in non..bio washing powder so have had to go to the shop to buy non-bio!!!...both dogs bedding is now in the wash...also got the rest of the weeks shop while I was getting the soap powder so ending up getting a taxi back...it was only £2.50 so saved me carrying 6 bags back...it was quite cheap £30.
