LOL...I've never felt so low.Think the problem is that everything is beyond my control and it's like treading through treacle.
The hysterectomy, the debt, the car crash, keeping the business going,my osteo arthritis...what next?...I just don't seem to be able to start and keep on going...

I'd have more faith sorting stuff out if the two clowns weren't running the country. His last little epsisode(pre budget) has put my diesel costs up by loads and GMAC are nearly bust..so if they go under and I have a brand new car ..what about my warranty?
    Everything knocks onto everything else.

I'll let you know a little secret: Gordon Brown didn't cause this. But since he took credit for the boom (which he didn't cause either), he can take credit for the bust. Since they are just two sides of the same coin. It's like breathing. For every inhale, there is an exhale.

GMAC are just the finance part of GM. It's more GM you have to worry about.

Is your car a vauxhall? It's possible vauxhall will continue in this country as a going concern. GM and Ford are insolvent basket-cases and have been for years, but Obama may bail them out - they have, after all, bailed out anything which isn't nailed down.

Chrysler (the 3rd big US maker) is less bad. But what's a little bit less than a basket-case..? ;)

The debt..well i would say we would never have been able to be inspired by you otherwise, and it shows your mettle in the way you and hubby have tackled it:D
The car crash..well that is a bummer..but it also meant you found ways around it and again pulled together when you needed too.:T :A
Keeping the business going ..Yep indeedie..yeahaa:cool:
Osteo arthritis..only positive i can think of there is the nice male doctors.;) .and the drugs...

What next..a bloody good holiday:T .SUN, SEA AND ;) ..i am jealous:rotfl: :rotfl:

my boss has done the price reductions to keep another firm from another town out of the area and he seriously doesn't care if all the other cabs lower their fares as well.
If I go to another firm I'll have respray costs etc and then they may lower their fares hence me having wasted my money anyway.
You wouldn't believe how many cabs are in Blackpool...of the top of my head it's about 2000.
    Perhaps I'm being silly.

Your boss isn't worried about profit, he's worried about cash-flow. Which means your firm is in a fight for survival. Your firm is undoubtedly not alone, which makes going to another firm rather academic, unless they have some huge competitive advantage. Unfortunately, you are in the "eating each other" stage of economic contraction. Unfortunately you are just going to have to bear the pain. The ones that work the hardest will bear the pain the best.

Thanks for everyones support tonight.Don't know what I'd do without you all.
