    We lead such interesting lives..eh?
The offset was my emergency funds in that it could pay my mortgage payments if it got bad plus also it was gaining a bit of interest..it was so frightening having no emergency funds when DH had the car crash and then Halifax took our £5k o/d away at the same time.We vowed we would not be in that position again.
on a positive note last year I had to use a 0% CC to pay our tax bills and this year I actually have it in the offset £3800 + and we still have £1800 comp to come and loss of earnings ...so we are in a lot better position than last jan and better than june this year...so I will get on with it and be in twice the position next year.

Woo Hoo, Taxi is back with us. :j
Good to see the positives far outweighing the negatives.

If it hadn't of been for your planning, you and OH could have been in the same boat as other owner/drivers.
Hope you have a busy weekend and it helps you to regulate your body clock.

    Hugs :grouphug:

Went to work today and managed 4 1/2 hours...and did ok..then traffic got really silly.Have hoovered since I came back and done some washing and that's about it.
DH has just phoned and theres some lights flashing on the car and him being clueless I'm now waiting for him to come back so I can check to see what the problem is and whether he can carry on driving it!!!
Panic over with the car ..a lightbulb had gone..what's he like.
