hi taxi, sorry to hear you've been down as you've been a mainstay in MSE for me. I know i worry about my job in the recession and it's safer than yours in many ways but i still worry so i'm not surprise you are worrying. and Whatatwit is very right in what she (he) says. Sorry it feels like she's a she if you know what i mean.

    Hi taxi
How are you today? Have you been snowed in? Hope things are OK with you and the family.

Hi ..I'm fine thanks...Whatatwit is a she..you're right. We haven't had snow here ..just rain and wind.
Nothing to report really so that's why I haven't posted.
Filled the car and washed it and went to DD1s new house today and it's quite nice and she seems happy.Ending up bringing DGS back with me for a few hours and to have his tea.He found it absolutely hilarious when the men were washing the car..lol
I phoned the solicitor today and he says he's close to getting a deal on the loss of earnings and that once that's agreed he'll send the othe other offer back to them.He said it'll be a few weeks yet so doubt we'll see it before christmas.
    And that's about it really.

Glad that the snow has missed you, and that you sound a little brighter today x

Hi Hun, it may work out well if the money comes through in Feb, it could help to tide you over the lean time.

Thanks you two..I will have to take my tax money out of my offset if it doesn't come through ..so that's a double whammy as that's our dire emergency pot.WE get back from holiday on 20th jan so will know what to do then.We were going to use DHs loss of earnings and comp to pay the tax bill and leave the other money offset.
If it's not hear in time I'll use the money in offset to pay the tax and then use DHs money to pay off debt as the interest rate is low on mortgages now.
Sea sorry to hear your news and hope you manage to get some sleep tonight.
