The reason I ask is because I still haven't heard a thing. I usually get the voice script submitted successfully email but I haven't even had that.0

Just found out that my application hasn't even been made, even though I did the voice script as usual. I have been waiting for over 2 weeks now thinking I had applied. If you haven't had the 'voice script submitted successfully' email, it may be well worth checking.0

Hi there,
I was wondering how any of the people who are working for contract exchange have gone on with the accountancy side of things? Has anyone found out they are a Manged Service Company, and what the implications for IR35 have been? Were there any complications with returning your self assessment or VAT return?
Also, is anyone working for Tesco or ACT, and how are you finding it?0 -
Hi All,
I'm surprised to see the last post was in 2010. I've just found this company today and I'm thinking of signing up, but would be good to know how those who signed up got on and if they are still contracted? Is there plenty of work? Any advice would be appreciated. Worried about paying out for the training and then regretting it. Thanks.0 -
I feel this is kind of money making program. The exchange works as an intermediate agent for other companies who want to hire people work from home. Exchange doesn't do anything other than taking our applications and making sure that we have the needed equipments and they send whatever the materials. That's all.
But the companies who hire us are different from each other. If you work for this company you can't work for that company. If you work for that company you can't work for this company. they differ from each other. they say we are independent contractors. But we can't choose whom we want to work, once we join one company. Though there are many companies not all of them will hire you.
Some companies say they need customer service people but we have to do a limited portion of sales too, which everyone cannot do, specially at this state of economic situation in the world. If you don't sell you are not good. They will try to chase you out of your job.
So basically, we are paying hundreds of dollars thinking we are getting the job we like. But we are not. We are filling up their pockets by working for them. We are getting paid. But, when calculating the budget, we aren't getting much benefit because we have to pay monthly amount for the contract exchange for doing housekeeping for us, such as the platform lending etc. and then the pay. That is done by another company. We have to pay extra for them for doing our payrolls.
This is what basically happening everywhere in the world, wherever you go. And to find out this is not a patented program in North America, I found out. it says in the website itself.
Therefore I would say make sure you read thoroughly everything before you sign up for a company because we are paying them a good portion of a money.
Good luck everyone!0 -
