Contract Xchange

Hi
I'm just wondering if anyone has heard of contract Xchange. I'm looking to boost my income and they seem to be offering work as a call centre adviser working from home.

Not sure if this is a scam. Can someone advise if they have heard of them or have had any dealings with the company?

Many thanks in advance.

Contract exchange are legit as far as I know. My friend who works for British Gas just emailed me with a link for them as they are recruiting for customer service peeps who work from home for certain shifts.

  • I joined one of their online info sessions - it sounded good but you do have to pay out for training in advance of earning any money - that was the one downside I could see. Have tried to find out a lot more info about them and couldn't find that much apart from a little bit in Canada (where they started from). Was waiting for someone else to try it first

    Hi,

Been job hunting and came across a work from home business, and was wondering if anyone has had any experiences with this company.

    Many Thanks

They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

    Hi!

just had a look into this. to work for contract xchange you need a serperate landline, webcam and be willing to purchase a finger print machine at £75.00 along with a seperate pc for their software and be willing to pay for your own on line traning (around £80.00 - £120.00) target earning are £12.00 per hour but you are paid £1.20 a call, not an hourly rate.

sounds a bit too much of an inital outgoing to me!!

I would be willing to bet they make more money from the people who pay for that lot than they do from the people who casually get do work for them.

If I didn't need to sleep at night I could make a fortune just getting people to pay up front for a job that doesn't exist.

    Hi,
I've just started the training with contractxchange for british gas. Yes you do pay for the training, £90 in total but contractxchange are letting you pay for it out of your first earnings. They seem like a good company. There mainly based in America, just starting other here. You will be self emoloyed and will need to register for VAT.

Anyone who would like a referal, PM me.

Sorry - when I replied, mine was the only response to that particular thread. It has now been merged with this one, so my post looks rather odd. I'll delete it now. ;)
  • Hi
I am inpressed with the option to pay for training out of first earnings.
How do you get on with the job in general ?
    Any major hick-ups ?
Have you been paid already ?
