well that's only 30 minutes or so before my order for the printer but i would have thought that if i had been successful then i would have had a pdf by now

Remember the Cardiff camera shop that were advertising the expensive camera at £0.00?
They confirmed the order, charged all of our cards, then refunded us without so much as an e-mail.
Then again I don't think anybody actually challenged them due to pity.

You would think that if they were going to welsh out then they would have said something by end of today. I would, your position on anything does not get any better the longer you dither about it. Perhaps they are waiting on an opinion from Messrs. Sue Grabbitt and Runne.

I normally would supress the need to correct someones terminology but on this occasion being Welsh I feel the need to correct your usage of the word, the term you are looking for is "welch" and not Welsh but point taken.

I realise there is some doubt as to whether any PDF's have been received, but it absolutely 100% true. If I knew how to post a scanned document I would. I have copied the following from the PDF document though.

My only worry is that they send out the Projector and/or the printer and then try to charge us the full price allowing us to cancel but then losing out on the delivery charge (which is non refundable) and about £16 if i remember correctly.

What does anyone else think about that? ???

If I offer to sell you a new Rolls Royce for £20 would you believe it's real? Unless there is something wrong with you probably not, same applies to the Dell scenario. 99% of people know they are ordering an item that has an error on it, whether you admit it or not is another thing. Thats the exact reason Dell won't honour it due to it being an error. T&C's normally state contract subject to availability. This does not only mean the item being physically in stock, but also means that the actual offer still exists which it may have not ever have done. Dell (USA) have enough legal power to cover themselves in such scenarios as do so many companies in the UK. I think really the chances only lie with them being nice and out of courtesy and customer retention fulfilling the order. Let's see what happens but I for one would be very suprised if the did fulfill the sale.

I ordered two computers on the 12 November and wanted to pay cash of which they would not let me so as I was getting them cheap I went for the Credit option so I would'nt lose out on the deal.

I have complained to Dell regarding this issue and the fact I have been transferred by phone to no less than 7 people over a 45 minute period - India to Timbucktoo, Ireland, India ETC ETC ETC... . with in 24 hours it got to the ears of the Excecutive of the sales team who emailed me, but he is now reluctant to reply to my email may be because I mentioned MartinLewis - Last weekend I received a letter confirming the order so I went straight to the tracking section and its not there so I inquired and this morning Dell Emailed me to say it had been cancelled with no explanation , I then emailed Dells finance department in Ireland inquiring where is the money I had paid and they have advised me that it has'nt been cancelled.

Another day wasted and still no refund no computer and no explanation.

I don't think this necessarily applies. I understand *now* that apparently these projector things are very expensive (000's of pounds) but why would any normal person realise that? Why are they so dear actually, OK so it's a projector that shines your computer screen on the wall but normal (film) projectors cost only a few quid don't they?
