My only worry is that they send out the Projector and/or the printer and then try to charge us the full price allowing us to cancel but then losing out on the delivery charge (which is non refundable) and about £16 if i remember correctly.
What does anyone else think about that? ???
You should have considered the risks before ordering.
Don't order something unless you are up for the risks, like they are not gonna send it to, charge you full price, charge you non-refundable delivery cost, etc.
Remember nobody forced you to order.but no worries at all, 1000's of ppl are with u on this one, if u got charged, so must the others? why worries?

40 prints and the replacement pack costs £30.
I'm sure there are cheaper alternatives outthere0 -
That's just photo paper & inks, nothing else. :-/
its not the printer...0 -
I know gameplayer - I knew the risks.... :-/
but look at this posted above
Dell 540 Photo Print Pack (TRIPLE PACK) - 3x Photo Cartridges for 40 prints each + 3x 40 sheets of Dell Premium Photo Paper (paper and ink cannot be bought separately)
£28.08
maybe this wasn't a pricing error afterall!(they will make money back from the print packs!Treat everyday as your last one on earth, and one day you will be right!0 -

Remember, this is NOT a normal PC printer - it is designed for printing proper photos, glossy nice things. And it's thermal printing, so its very resilient, won't smudge.
Running cost works out at about 40p per print, which is expensive compared to online print processors, but then you have the convenience of being able to get prints instantly in your own home.

The printer isn't inkjet so it uses special ink (I think its thermal).
The price of the refill is not too bad. It works out at about 25p per print (plus the cost of the paper of course). My local photoshop costs more than that per print.
EDIT: I just noticed that the print pack does include the paper, but you have to add postage so it is a little more than 25p per print.0 -
Lets just pretend for fun that you did get the projector what would you use it for..some ideas:
-Watching your favourite film on the ceiling at night (possibly a pr0n- not in front of the kids though you naughty !!!!!!)
-Teaching your kids some eduactional stuff like teletubbies or sesame street so that when they are older then can act like LaLa and get arrested.
-Oh and selling it on ebay.
-Did I mention selling it on ebay?
So, what would you use it for?0 -

It's awesome for a home cinema setup. With the money saved through not having to buy the projector at full price you could go full out on the rest of the gear.0 -
Oh come now, all printers require paper and ink. Clearly a specialist lab quality photo printer will use specialist lab quality ingredients.
However, all Dell printers are rebranded (usually Lexmark?) so there should be alternatives out there. More and more as these things become more popular I would imagine.
Anybody know what brand this one actually is?0
