Help - Ryanair

Please no arguments or nastyness, had enough of it the past couple of days, just looking for some help.
I just tried to book flights with Ryanair as they have the £1 sale on, I found a flight from Glasgow Prestwick to Dublin on 11th October and the return was going to be from Dublin back to Glasgow on the 13th October, so for me and my mum this was £4 but I had to pay £20 in charges for using my card.
Anyway, I thought I had two windows open, one for going, one for coming back (in case they got booked up) and I noticed that they were both for coming back, so I changed one. After that happening I did keep checking both windows were right, one for going there and one for coming back. All was fine, I ordered the one for going first, went through fine. Then ordered the one for coming back home, as soon as I pressed confirm, or pay or whatever it says, it had changed to another flight for going to Dublin! So basicly, I have somehow mysteriously managed to make two bookings for the same direction, same time, same day etc and none for the return journey.
They both had the same confirmation number as well
I'm really upset, I was keeping this money aside for a party that I was invited to next month but decided getting away for a couple of days would have been better, so used it for that. Now I've lost the money and got nothing and won't be able to go to the party either.
I am going to try and phone Ryanair tomorrow but is it likely there is anything they can do? I don't know if they can change one of the flights? If they offer a refund I imagine it would just be for one of the actual flights (£2) rather than for the card charge as well?
Have I lost my money?
Thanks for any help.

Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.

I had one for each way so that I didn't have to order one, then order the other one seperately, I was doing them both at the same time ish. Was just trying to make sure I didn't miss out. Wish I had now.Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0 -
surely if its the same confirmation number then its the same booking, each booking will have a unique confirmation number.
all the best
the bearLive each day like its your last because one day you'll be right0 -
Doesnt Ryanair do the going and coming in the same window, cannot see why you had 2 windows open0

Check your bank - have they taken two lots of money? Sometimes having two windows open confuses the computers. I've had similar problems with Emirates website in the past.0

In my experience the words "Ryanair" and "Refund" are pretty much mutually exclusive. Sorry. You wont get a penny.0

If your card has been charged twice but you only received one booking, you have a valid claim for a refund and you should contact your bank if Ryanair won't cooperate.
If your card has been charged twice and you actually received two bookings (which seems unlikely from your description - how many confirmation emails did you get?) there's not really anything you can do. The transactions on the card statement should contain the confirmation number, so you should be able to tell if two separate bookings were made.
If you you were charged once, no problem!Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning0 -
I got two confirmation emails, with the same confirmation number on both
To be honest, i don't know if they have charged me twice or not until a couple of days when my bank will finally let me know. My bank don't know whats coming and going as it does, really quite annoying.
Yes I would have it on the same page if it was a return but it wasn't. It was two one way flights. Thanks for the help everyone.Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0 -
have u rung them yet0

I understand why you had two windows open, but it doesn't work like that. The Ryanair website uses cookies. Once you transact in one of the windows (e.g., select a flight and click Next), that booking is replicated on any Ryanair windows you may have open on your PC.0
