i think we all need to remember the point of the story.
im not talking about getting a handful of skincare spits & pinkies & getting products for free. or mitchum vouchers or parenting club etc
this is a customer that has repeatly abused the system through the same means, over & over again with TD voucher after TD voucher.
this is, i think, one end of the scale.
although you ladies like a bargain i dont think any of you would go to such extreme lengths!!

If Boots are serious about this prosecution they need to stop the multiple purchase of mags by amending the till and training it's staff! I cant see how it would go to court when the customer has to read the small print to realise it is technically one per card.The display stand just says £1 or free to AC holders. I am sure this will affect lots of people , not just MSE Bootsters.When the vouchers are giving away a free product , most people will try it more than once !

Sorry what I meant was no r & m cosmetics etc. yes 3 different xmas sets at Wrexham. Eye pallette one in Rhyl but that one beeped!:rolleyes:

I'll be really interested in how this is handled, if it's followed through.

I've bought PC vouchers on Ebay and used them - not sure if I could be accused of 'fraudulent activity' (although I know that's not what is being discussed). I did manage a few TD coupons and TS deals, but not seen a mag for a while. I don't tend to do the 'money off your shopping' glitches, as these make me nervous - but each to their own

Have to admit that I'd have hoped that Mr B would've either put up notices warning of a crack-down on people taking too many mags or re-jigged the tills to make it possible to only get only one mag free with each ad card before taking such drastic action though!:eek:

When i was my local boots last week with my friend, i went to get a mag and there was three tills with three sa serving, well i went to the end till on the left and the girl in the middle went up to the women on the right till and said to her can she have a magazine, meaning me, and the women said yes if she puts her card in, they know that i have had mags from there before, and they dont like me in that store, its the one where i nearly lost my points. But i haven't done a lot of td points thou.

I think this is the trouble with stories based on hearsay - what was overheard as 'tonnes' could have meant only 4 or it could have meant 400 by the person who originally said it.......who knows what they consider to be tonnes?
