No, I completely agree with you, we don't know what this person has done. The only thing I can think of is using ss tills and getting the till to pay this person repetedly. Tbh, if it is using boots mag vouchers and other vouchers and they are accepted by the sa, then thats boots over reacting as they do a bit to often nowdays iykwim.
Tbh, i think this just worries people and i don't think anyone should be if they are doing glitches that are accepted by sa.0 -

ETA: also the thing of using vouchers, till spits, and ad card continually could apply to the majority of members on this thread, hence why I think it just creates more fear than reassurance.
Ive missed this post where was it posted, this is scary, am worried now.Married 09/09/090 -

it was the time delay glitch - the 200 ad card pts voucher.
she was 'buying' a TD product, using her skincare spit & handing in the 200 ad card points voucher out of the HB magazine.
paying nothing for the product & receiving 200 points.
this in itself is fine, but the rules regarding the HB magazine is that it is £1 to non ad card-holders OR free to ad-card holders.
wheres the problem i hear you ask?
T&C's state that it is one free copy of HB magazine to ad card holders.
If the certain customer wanted more copies, she should have paid £1.00 for each subsequent copy.
your ad card keeps a record of whether or not you have had HB magazine & used vouchers.
hope that all makes sense. dont want to make you worry, just letting you all know.
Had the person used quite a lot of these? Like 40 + or something?0 -

Hiya, it does make sense! Thanks for the heads up but in all honesty why wouldn't Boots find some way of stopping people getting loads of H&B mags. Like you say, they can tell how many mags you have had so why not find a way to make the till beep (It does for a lot of things!). Just a thought, I know you are only helping out. x;)0 -
It might be good if some people do worry hun (the ones who abuse the glitch im no about
) As the people who get it in moderation - it should all be fine as boots know what we are going to do with the vouchers.. they cant be that stupid not to know :rotfl: .
I guess its like if you did the mithum(sp), baby expert glitch alot - where the till can owe you money etc.
Or like doing the no7 glitch 20/30 times iynwim - espically all in the same store .
It's good to know about it though, as maybe people will think twice before picking up for example, 20-odd Mitchum(sp) with loadsa vouchers!
And, hope your doing okay MrsBB!!!

I'm fine ta hunni, dying for info about doncaster but it seems I'll have to find out for myselfAnd as for the post, well, more info has come out and if the reasons stated are correct, I have a feeling if they are going to be prosocuting (sp) bootsers for buying too much time delay and getting points back, then the courts are going to have an overwhelming amount of good looking ladies to sentence :rotfl:
