Thank you for the heads up hunni - but I kinda hate posts like this, I know its good to 'know' if you like....but I just feel as we have no idea who this has happened to or what exactly has happened it just kinda creates more harm than good, in the sense it makes a lot of people panic and worry. I may be shot down in flames here, but that's just my view.

ETA: also the thing of using vouchers, till spits, and ad card continually could apply to the majority of members on this thread, hence why I think it just creates more fear than reassurance.

Did she do glitches alot that made the till owe her money etc? Or isit because she got it that cheap, that it counts as fraud iynwim? :eek: :eek: :eek:

I dont really understand how she could be prosecuted - if all the vouchers scan fine...

I can only imagine anything would happen to this person if they used more PC vouchers than sent to them.

I can not imagine for one minute that Boots would have one leg to stand on if she had used 300 mg vouchers, spits, pinkies etc

It might be good if some people do worry hun (the ones who abuse the glitch im on about ) As the people who get it in moderation - it should all be fine as boots know what we are going to do with the vouchers.. they cant be that stupid not to know :rotfl: .
I guess its like if you did the mithum(sp), baby expert glitch alot - where the till can owe you money etc.
Or like doing the no7 glitch 20/30 times iynwim - espically all in the same store :rolleyes:.
It's good to know about it though, as maybe people will think twice before picking up for example, 20-odd Mitchum(sp) with loadsa vouchers!

right bit more detail.
it was the time delay glitch - the 200 ad card pts voucher.
she was 'buying' a TD product, using her skincare spit & handing in the 200 ad card points voucher out of the HB magazine.
paying nothing for the product & receiving 200 points.
this in itself is fine, but the rules regarding the HB magazine is that it is £1 to non ad card-holders OR free to ad-card holders.
wheres the problem i hear you ask?
T&C's state that it is one free copy of HB magazine to ad card holders.
If the certain customer wanted more copies, she should have paid £1.00 for each subsequent copy.
your ad card keeps a record of whether or not you have had HB magazine & used vouchers.
hope that all makes sense. dont want to make you worry, just letting you all know.

Popped into Wincheap (Canterbury) to get out of the rain......well thats my excuse & I'm sticking to it!!!!:eek:

Wanted to use up some spits & pinkys..........managed to get 2 x Glossy Locks & 2 x Lip & Eye screen with one pinky.......also got 2 x SPF15 Facial Tanning for a pinky! They were going through as half price & Bogof :T :T :T
Plenty of Sancury Wipes................so 5 of them FREE with spits (some for mum!) Also managed the Sanctury Warming Masks x 3 & paid a little xtra.........
Some of the toys were also half price.........worth a look for Christmas............Sorry I know its early but better half price now than struggle nearer the time!

Does anyone have a picture of the summer pallette?? There was an old gwp in rhyl today, a silver tin with a selection of eyeshadows i think, it was being sold at 9.50 though so 4.50 with pinkie?? not sure if this is the summer pallette that everyone is getting free?

I know what i'm doing with my long curly hair stuff - a friend of mine recently lost her Dad in a car crash. Both her and her mum have long and EXTREMELY curly hair so i'm making up a hamper for each of them with the TS bits and sanctuary and a few No7 bits to give them as a little pick me up! The only thing is, getting things for the little boy in Boots is hard, will have to try elsewhere for him methinks don't think he'd appreciate face masks somehow!
