    right bit more detail.
it was the time delay glitch - the 200 ad card pts voucher.
she was 'buying' a TD product, using her skincare spit & handing in the 200 ad card points voucher out of the HB magazine.
paying nothing for the product & receiving 200 points.
this in itself is fine, but the rules regarding the HB magazine is that it is £1 to non ad card-holders OR free to ad-card holders.
wheres the problem i hear you ask?
T&C's state that it is one free copy of HB magazine to ad card holders.
If the certain customer wanted more copies, she should have paid £1.00 for each subsequent copy.
your ad card keeps a record of whether or not you have had HB magazine & used vouchers.
hope that all makes sense. dont want to make you worry, just letting you all know.
How do can they prove she hasn't 'bought' x amount and just not used her card? Still profitable for her to do this as mag costs £1 rewarded 200 points (£2) Think Boots are on shaky ground IMHO as they shouldn't have accepted the vouchers off her or should only allow AC to give 1 x free mag (please no  ). Also SA's don't always scan mag  Maybr Mr B just realised he c****d up big time........ again :rotfl: :rotfl: There's gonna be alot of us in trouble then (myself included) Have done this about 10 times myself

Thank you for the heads up hunni - but I kinda hate posts like this, I know its good to 'know' if you like....but I just feel as we have no idea who this has happened to or what exactly has happened it just kinda creates more harm than good, in the sense it makes a lot of people panic and worry. I may be shot down in flames here, but that's just my view.

    Hi all,

I have to agree MrsBB, I now feel worried, and I know that I shouldn't as I have done nothing wrong, BUT, I still am worried and why should I
    or others be
I have handed over vouchers that I have been legitimily (think that's right :rotfl: ) given by the till each time I have spent transactions amounting to £5.
I have also used vouchers that Boots have sent me via HC & PC - I have 7 children, 2 under 2 so again, all legal.
I have also used vouchers from the H&B mag - if we are only allowed one then the till should beep when we take more than one - like it does when we have used our double points coupon twice

Surely, if we are "being fradulent" then Boot's Head Office would become alerted quite quickly by all our little glitches

In my opinion - which prob doesn't count for much - if Boots are starting to crack down - and I mean if - then they should be headhunting the person in charge of creating all these offers at the same time as it is they who are "fleecing" Boots by making items so lucrative to us :D

    Sorry for the essay :o
  • I'm fine ta hunni, dying for info about doncaster but it seems I'll have to find out for myself :) And as for the post, well, more info has come out and if the reasons stated are correct, I have a feeling if they are going to be prosocuting (sp) bootsers for buying too much time delay and getting points back, then the courts are going to have an overwhelming amount of good looking ladies to sentence :rotfl:

Lol, completely agree, at least we'd all be wrinkle free and well made-up.

the red thing is a little pouch to put the mirror in, welshmule should take ALL the credit for these as she spotted them, I have only seen them in wrexham high street and I travelled quite a bit last week.

Are the mirrors located with the other Ruby & Millie items, or in a separate section? I know not all stores have them yet, but I'd like an idea of where to look as those are lovely! My sister/nieces etc. would be quite pleased with those come Christmas (along with a pile of other Boots items, lol).
