The point of the story is Boots are leaving themselves wide open to this behaviour - whether it's 1 or 1000 transactions, Boots have created this scenerio themselves in my opinion.

If the lady in question decides to get 50 HB mags & has 50 till spits - all got with genuine £5 transactions and hands over one 200 TD points coupon with one TD item 50 times and is not questioned or stopped then she is not at fault.

And if she spends the £100 worth of TD points earned from HB vouchers then she still has not even made her money back that she has spent to get the £5 till spits.

Boots are still making a profit - perhaps that is why it is not being stopped.

(me thinks I should calm down now - what is wrong with me :rotfl: )

Got this today must say I have just had the most wicked cappucino ever...but flaming thing took twice as long to clean as the drink took to consume :eek:

I now remember why I gave the last one away on freecycle

Although should the above happen there is a great possibility that if warned of legal action boots would reinstate them as a court would not expect the t&c's within the mag to be read by even the smallest amount of advantage card holders.

So ladies and gents, I'd just carry on snipping those coupons and earning yourself some lovely points

Went into Boots today they had TD wipes and all the cheap <£5 skincare stuff as far as they eye could see (well, on the shelves, anyway!)
Debated about getting anymore JK files to make up a further £5 spend, didn't....

Went to till with my stuff (TD wipes, i-define brush and MY treat for myself, the hair styling thingy which drys and straightens at the same time, was reduced from £24 to £16 ) and heard the SA's coming out with the biggest fairy story since Enid Blyton first thought of Noddy...

We can't give you any £5 vouchers or skincare vouchers as we have run out of the No 7 and we would be in breach of contract if we only gave you 1 voucher when all our signs say 2 vouchers when you spend £5
