The house looks lovely. I wouldn't mind owning a house like that! If only I could buy that where I am, here it would cost about £4m
It's amazing how much places cost in London compared to the rest of the country. As a Londoner it's easy to forget and think that £500k+ is the norm for a 1 bed flat
As for positive stories, I've recently sold, £10k under asking price and 15% more than my next door neighbour did this time last year. You just need to wait and the right person will come along.0 -
We just bought (moved in 3 weeks ago!) a lovely Grade II listed timber-framed house, and we sold our Victorian terrace. Our new house must have been on the market for slightly over a year between first going on the market and us moving in - a sale in the middle fell through. In the end, the seller had two offers on the same day - and picked ours. So there you are - there is hope!
Got a link? I've always wanted to move into a lovely timber framed house. Very jealous
