£3 for gas and £8 for electricity.

The trouble with having a low consumption is that it plays havoc with grabbing the best deal - technically I could save an extra £15 per year with an annual discount but to receive that I'd have to double my monthly payments. Can't be bothered to pay an extra £8 every month just to save £1 per month!

I know it sounds to good to be true. £3 of gas wont even give a weeks worth of showers let alone any heating or cooking

You spend ten hours per week under the shower??? (£3 - 100kWhs) Try 30 seconds to soak yourself then 30 seconds to rinse.

No, I don't use much heating - blame the weather, not me. Without any heating my sitting room did not drop below 13 degrees last winter. Since Hannah Spearritt is unlikely to be visiting there isn't any need for it to be warmer. And it hasn't dropped below 19 degrees this summer. I can't really fathom out where all you people are posting from - the arctic?

It maybe colder up north but I not that different. last winter it was sub zero for about 6 weeks. I remember one morning I came downstairs and it was 7 degrees in the kitchen

What sort of house do you live in? Im an end terrace similar to those in everton road. Although it isnt the best insulated house it does get chilly on the ground floor although on the 1st floor it did stay about a steady 16 degrees up there so I didnt bother turning the heaters on there, just kept the kitchen and front room at a steady 18-20 degrees.

I don't heat the house unless it's really cold. Last year I spent £100 on gas, and I live in Edinburgh.
My electricity works out at £250 a year.
I shot a vein in my neck and coughed up a Quaalude.
